i think the way they talked was dumb, im not gunna do that. back in those days its pretty much whoever was the strongest could do whatever they want.... thats how i want it
i find they way they talked more pleasing than some of the crap that the peoples of today constantly spill forth unto us like a tide of evilness, lapping over us corrupting our minds.

couldnt they have just said Diablo sucks? its easier to write, easier to read, and you still get the same point across.
why must they speak thusly? do they not know it is such hard work reading their ramblings?
as far as being the strongest is concerned, yes there is a bit of that, but also nobility, rank and class factor in too.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I read yours Elfen, the untranslated version, but only just. I have skill in decifering noob-rambles. Anyway, I think proper typing, even if it isn't capitals, even if it isn't perfect, is important.

exactly my point, its borderline non sensical gibberish, had i not been part of a forum/gamer for as long as i have i wouldnt have know what that said.
but if you read something from the age of chivalry, its no too hard to read, almost anyone can understand what they are saying, some of the words may have change or lost their meaning or are no longer used, but at least you can read it.
withersoever. seriously its a word, its in Children of Hurin.

this too i agree with, well its somewhat the same as the point above, you dont necessarily have to speak like the people of old, but im fairly sure the least you could do is speak or rather type in english, and maybe a bit of interent/gamer lingo, but not full blown 1337 or leet rather.
that is correct right? 1337, this sort of thing has never been something i fully took to heart.

Anyway, Shakespere for instance. I can understand that, but some of the stuff people spout in LOTRO, well, experianced as I am, and with the slanf dictionary in the other window, it still makes no sense.
im sure the last 3 thread ive read have you correcting someone's spelling.
shakespeare is fairly easy, but you found LOTR hard? i suppose it is, but im used to it by now.
