Tony Stark is a successful weapons manufacturer. His brilliance has brought around the best weapons technology the world had ever seen. After presenting a new missile system, he is abducted by terrorists, who want him to build the very same missile for them. He comes to learn that they have many of his own weapons, and using them he must build this new missile. He doesn't build a missile, he builds a suit. He fights his way out, and is rescued by american forces.
This is basically already know and what you can already see from the trailers if you have not seen the movie yet. Sounds cool right? A man going vigilanty and fighting for what he knows in his heart is right? A patriot for his country, passionate and brilliant, Tony Stark (played by Robert Downy Jr) perfects his suit, and fights the good struggle, taking responsibility for the damage his company has done (behind his back).
My review? Awesome. Amazing. Simply mind-blowing. The story is solid, the roles are flawless if not perfect, and the effects are so good that I was looking at it all asking myself "Why don't we have these suits already?" Every aspect of this movie is well handled and executed, most notably Robert Downy Jr. He was absolutely perfect for this role, and executes it with the utmost precision. I cannot recommend this movie enough. I've seen it twice, I'm planning at least one more by the end of next week.
Many of you know my fervor and love for Lord of the Rings and 300. This movie might actually surpass those two and become my all time favorite. I need to see it at least 10 more times before I make that verdict, but its a strong possibility.
Carloseus gives "Iron Man" 5 dancing bananas out of 5.
Basically. I'm trying to arrange to see the movie again today! Only movies I've seen more than once was twice, and those were LoTR and 300. This one is so good that I'm actually going 3 times.
I really want to see it again and a lot of my friends do too so maybe we'll be able to go to the movies one of these weekends and see it. And i never go to the theatres to see a movie twice.

Eh 300 kind of bored me. LOTR I've watched all three movies around 30 times at least.
And yeh, one dancing banana is 100 points because they're so fucking cool. So you might want to not use bananas for shitty movies.

"Cards and flowers on your window, your friends all plead for you to stay,
sometimes beginnings aren't so simple, sometimes goodbye's the only way."
I've seen 4 movies in theatres more than once. Only one of these was my own doing (The first LotR). The others were Star Wars 3, Pirates 3 and Spiderman 3.
Thanks for the review by the way, except now I want to see it even more..., but I don't have any time!!!
I watched it about 4 times already, simply badass. Ironman can rank up even to LOTR trilogy, 300, and Pirates Trilogy. Comedy and Action blended in one kickass movie
Batman Begins was awesome. I'm very excited for The Dark Night as well. I hope Heath does a good job as the Joker. He won't outdue Nicholson, but I hope he does well.

Actually, I'm absolutely positive he will do a better job than Nicholson, so much so that I believe he will get an Oscar for his performance.
iron man was great... plain and simple...lol and whoever played pepper potts shes gorgeous LOL anyway... i thought 300 was boring as hell man... and lotr trilogy was good and i own those but iron man was better... more constant action lol i love our govts suit compared to his... our govts sucked LOL (in the movie)

Wow, honestly man GTFO!
Watching Iron Man was freaking amazing, the graphics, were stunning, on par with Blizzards Starcraft 2 Cinematic where the Marine is suiting up.
I might go watch it again tomorrow since when i saw it the first time, the cinemas were full and i had to sit down the front
No he didn't. He did a number of interviews well after filming was completed.
I always wondered if Nicholson might have played a better Joker if Tim Burton wasn't directing him. I mean, seeing Nicholson in The Shining and all.
