Hello friends. While on leave I have begun reading some of Blizzard's Novels. I recently finished Rise of the Horde by Christie Golden, and it simply blew my mind away. It was shear pleasure, and shows a more compassionate side of Ner'zhul. It also shows so much more of all the people. It was simply amazing.
Has anyone else had the pleasure of reading this book, or any suggestions on any other books to read next? I am leaning towards Cycle of Hatred by Kieth R.A. DeCandido.
i havent read any of the 2 (they are on my "to read" list, though.
I finished the War of the Ancients Trilogy and i loved them. Tells of the first war against the Legion. It was quite awesome, finished all 3 books in about 2 weeks
Ehh. I started on the War of the Ancients, but it just didn't grab me. I don't really care one bit for Richard Knaak's work personally, but eventually I will force myself to read it, as I would like to know what lore he has created.
Either way, Rise of the Horde shows another side that is very interesting. I am on "Cycle of Hatred" right now. It's pretty good as well, though an obvious different writing style.
it starts kinda weird but it drags you into it after a little while. After the Legion starts invading.
Its very much like the Sin War Trilogy that i found weird at first and liked very much later.
Hmm. Well, like I said, I will force myself to read it either way, just kinda putting it off...
It's not so much that it picks up, just the writing style and all, I would of perfered if someone like Christie Golden or Chris Metzen wrote it personally.
Also, never read the Sin War. (Or any Diablo book for that matter...)
