Oops.....U get me, pal~~
hmm....frankly, I haven't got much feeling about the Olympics, but anyway, I'm honored that the 2008 Olympics could be held in Beijing, China though I was raised in shanghai, haven't been to the Capital of China yet.
I wish it would be the most fantastic, impressive event held in China ever
By the way, how do U feel about China? Have U ever been here? And Shanghai?

Unfortunately, I've never been there. I hear what it's like in the capital is very different than how it is in the rest of China.
I think China's an amazing country with amazing people. But I'm also concerned about the direction their government is headed. The reason I brought up the Olympics is cause a lot of people predict there will be some mass protests staged there by the people against the government for human rights violation.
And with the entire view of the world focused on China during that time, the protester will take full advantage of the spotlight. So I was wondering if you had any thoughts on that. Or even thoughts about the levels of censorship on the Internet there.
I'm also very interested in China's economy and how an inflated currency or change in your stock market can cause record lows in our stock market. At this point, I sometimes feel like the economic destinies of America and China are inextricably mixed. But maybe the Chinese see it differently than that. I don't know.
woo....man!! siaynoq, shocking....U really something of a pro global economic analyst and politician !!!???
how to say, about the issue U mentioned, I realized, out of a blue, it really could be a potential fierce crisis, although, I dont have the sharp vision like Urs, I also could feel the tension.
anyway, the situation couldnt be that pridictable, and its really far more unstable than we thought
Eh, it's just interesting is all. This is going to be the biggest international event for China ever. And they'll be spending the most at over 40 billion dollars than most other cities that have ever hosted. And with over 20,000 journalists predicted to be there, the coverage is going to be so extensive.
I've been trying to learn also about the spiritual movement there called the Falun Gong? They're another group that the government wants to keep out of the Beijing, but I know very little of what this group is about. Can you fill me in on any of this stuff?
I'm a boy from shanghai China...Diablo's NO.1 Fan
