So here's a question, those fatasses that are at the gym doing their treadmill junk and all that, do you look down on them for letting their body get to that disgusting point or do you think to yourself "good for him"?
Critter, if you're eating meat, chicken, eggs, or anything with a decent amount of protein in it, you don't really need the shakes, nevermind the fact that they're not all that cheap. You're only really working out your pectorals doing pushups..try mixing it up a bit. Do sit ups, spread your hands apart or close them together to train different parts of your pecs, lift some home items to train your biceps. Do those things to warrant your increased protein intake. Shakes aren't magic bro.
I also do sit-ups but yeah I don't always get my daily protein intake so the shakes will help. Haven't tried doing push-ups with my hands close together, I'll give that a shot. I was thinking about buying weights but I could probably find some nicely weighted objects around the house/outside.
