Yeh, I only wish Sorcerers.net, or anywhere for that matter had the same sort of thing, but for the D2/LOD chars. there are some great lines that could be put to excellent use in that game.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
''May the Gods give you the strength and power to bear the madness which flows through our minds.''
''Zubin, I've always imagined you as a crazy raver. The kinda guy that spends all night dancing to trance music while waving glow sticks and popping ecstasy.'' - Murderface
I don't have Hellfire any more, either I lost my disc (it happens), or some jack ass stole it.

Pretty sure Maestro gave us a nice copy of the Diablo laugh somewhere round here.
Not sure where it went, someone should definitely throw up a new version.
I only have this one, it hasthe back ground music too, which is kinda stink.

Cant you extract all these sound files using a mpq viewer?
I remember listening to peoples speech files in d2speech.mpq... I'll redownload that mpq viewer.... Why didnt I ever think of opening any of the other mpq files? *slaps himself on the forehead*
Edit - MPQ Viewers own... I'm using Stormless MPQ Viewer
(Go to google.com and search for 'MPQ Viewer', the first search should be 'Stormless MPQ Editor'. Its at this address is ' www.angelfire.com/sc/mpq ' (Version 1.3b1)
BTW, I didnt scan for any dodgy shit... But it works, so.... Meh, I dont bother scanning because my computers too old for me to give a damn
Heads up - Once youve opened the MPQ viewer it will extract a "folder of files" called EXTRACT.MPE to its location (keep them all in the same folder; thats obvious) but if you move them all to another folder it will act weird because youve changed the directory and bla bla bla
Summoner Taunts 1+2 files I extracted using this on rapidshare - Here
Those summoner files are named summonertaunt1 and summonertaunt2. The Diablo/Mephisto/etc taunts are all named similarly (ie, mephistotaunt2 has his badass laugh)
These are all in d2speech.mpq
d2music.mpq has all that beautiful music and d2sfx.mpq has pretty much everything else, the sound monsters make when you hit them, the sound of Teleport and all that
Theres also unused sound files in those .mpq files that were never used in the game. Like, each character has its own recording of him\her saying "What the hell is that?"... I dont think I've ever heard one of my characters say that before.
It comes from similar sound file present in diablo, refer to my links on the previous page.
There are a bunch of one or two word phrases not commonly heard. Possibly for use in removed quests or other such cut content.

I did not see that last page. Does Diablo1 consist of .mpq files? If so I might reinstall it so I can examine those with the .mpq viewer
Scrap that.. Im lost today
Some of the cut content on diablo2 included Andariel saying something like "The East is beyond your grasp" and Blood Raven says "Matron Andariel commands your death"
Ohh wow, thanks Elfen. But.. aww.. dissapointment. He sounds like one of those old guys on playschool or something reading a crappy childrens story. It sounds a lot more sinister in my mind. I wanna hear it as wicked chanting. I wish I knew how to edit sound...
If the sounds are from Diablo II you can use an mpq viewer, if the sounds are from Diablo I it gets trickier. I tried doing Diablo 1 with an mpq viewer and it screwed around

Also - I'll see what I can do about the corpse explosion. Keep reminding me.
