This would mean picking up EVERYTHING that you can. If you see a dust pan you can pick it up, if you see an apple on a tree you can pick it, if you see ANYTHING you can pick it up and use it for something. This includes reading books and such.
Using candles may increase light, you may be able to throw items at creatures? A glass in one direction may distract a monster enough to come up behind him. So many options here.
This does include STEALING. Going up behind a NPC merchant OR player and looking in their inventory (If you muck up, to jail with you where you sacrifice stats). You would need mastery points in stealing to do this and the better the item, the harder to pull off. This is subject to abuse, but if you keep good items in your stash it will be safe (I doubt they can take the armor off your back).
Nah, to do that it would be hard, real hard... like.. You would have to be a level 99 stealing off a level 20.. to get a unique, then it just aint worth it. Besides, if you do screw up, you lose stats for good.
