Anyway Jay already said that the classic definition of ACTS does not apply in D3. Acts will rather be chapters of a story instead of events in a certain area. Which means that we'll see and travel a great deal of land and I'm pretty sure that we'll see the transition between vegetation and desert which will be pretty amazing!

you wll see that transition but it will be diffrent i mean you have to go over that entire line of mountains, then cross a sea. Obviouslly the sea part will be cut out cause they wont make you sit on a boat for 5 hours to cross the damn sea and im wondering if they will make you go through the mountais or make you travel all the way up to the tip of the mountains by arreat and xiansi then cross over the land there and then come back over the sea for lut gholein or something.

maby each act will be like
act1 dry steppes
act 2 khanduras
act3 marshlands

and so on that way you et like three or four areas per act
man that would be sweet
arenoch would have 7 small ones or somthing

So Demon Hunter is entry number... 68?! Now that's either a huge mistake, or they just blew my whole theory!

I suspect that the outline of these tidbits already announced is not set in stone and as the game is progressing some ideals won't work and other ideas might be added so its not possible to look at these numbers and guess much of anything.

It seems to me that the timeline looks like early 2011 Beta and probably 4th quarter release for our xmas present next year.

Could be wrong but don't want to be as my hair is turning white waiting........

Maybe 3-4 City per act due to world map's locations. Also we have waypoints/checkpoints.. no Town Portal so its possible.
