The Diablo II Soundtrack has no equal. When I decided to do this I wanted to do it right and not just copy/paste a cover image with some music. I wanted it to look and feel right. I wanted to make it something that I could enjoy again and again. The tracks are all absolutely fantastic. I went out of my way to find the highest quality sound files that I could find, I used lossless FLAC whenever possible. I scoured through many websites, digging in deep to find good concept art. I ended up spending a lot of time piecing this thing together, I had to start all over many times with some segments but I think that in the end it was well worth the effort.
Credit to Matt Uelmen for this unprecedented muscial legacy. This is real art. There's nothing like it. This will never happen again. I sometimes play D2 or D3 muting the in-game music and I keep this one playing on my second screen. Call me a narcissist. And now we have Diablo II Resurrected incoming .. what can I say .. good things come to those that wait. † † †
The entire Diablo 2 Soundtrack is masterpiece. Apparently, the artist experimented with the orchestra and choirs for a long time and could not come up with anything. Eventually he found a guitar theme and then everything picked up pace.
What interests me most about the soundtrack is the rest of the game's content. I would like my friends to appreciate how much I felt. People say they don't change so much. As for Diablo 2 - Diablo 2 is great and what's most interesting is trading. Some people like to trade items in D2r - and I will also be buying Diablo resurrected items.
I hope that when my friends see how much I have dedicated myself, then I will be able to look normally again and in the eyes.

Yup! The informal, moody, ambient soundtrack really solidified the type of game and tone Diablo became known for. The tracks in Act 5 went a very different turn, which I think made sense since it was the climax of the story and a pretty epic conclusion, but woof--I completely agree. Esp in Act 2, I've always felt swept away on an adventure as grand as it was unassuming, and still rife with danger.
