The leak was to Rhykker on Oct. 17th. Goes on to say a bit more about the Diablo franchise; Diablo 4 is open word, etc.
Since the Original Reddit came out (little over 3 hours since this post) there has been a litany of troll posts now that everyone knows about it. At least the Mobile leak was legit.
Again folks as far as I can tell anyone can use this twitter to post as it is through a website. So take what you see with a grain of salt.
Also I guess back in June 20th 2018 the leaker wrote this:
@Asmogold How do I know this is all true? I work for Blizzard. To prove this, It is a few months off, one of the BlizzCon things is a mobile Diablo game made by Blizzard’s 3rd party team in China. 15b2b1b31c88d7
I saw his tweets. And i can definetely say that he doesntt work for Blizzard, he just had a prediction about what will happen at next Blizzcon
I can absolutely tell you that, he just made a ''smart prediction'' because you can see Diablo announcements were all about different platforms lately. And there is no way they can announce Diablo 4 before it's close to be ready. Because they are probably doing it carefully or it's on the way.
Blizzard surely know we want a new Diablo game on PC now.
Diablo 4 is definetely on the way and it's their last chance for the franchise after all the madness of community. They need to do it well and do it right. When i say ''right'' like Wyatt Cheng, i talk about gameplay and everything because we all know Diablo 3 and RoS didnt meet our expectations. And it will be one last shot which needs to be Great.
I had a leaked message which can make us really happy, but i dont want to post on forums or something myself before knowing it's real or not. Probably it will be on some platforms like Reddit or Youtube soon. And that's what we wanna hear now..
That's a pretty damn good guess, especially the China team part. It's so unlike Blizzard to outsource development on a new game like that, let alone a Chinese company.
Just this little part makes me weary that they have no PC response for us at all.
"You can expect Blizzard to spend a lot of time and attention on Diablo Immortal. Cheng said Diablo for mobile will be the next big core pillar for the Diablo franchise going forward."
Edit: also he has no tweets because everyone can tweet on that account, so you didn't really see "his" tweets as they were jumbled with a bunch of randoms.
In business-speak pillars are things you have several of. Diablo was raised on a PC pillar, then they added a console pillar, now they want a mobile pillar. All of them together figuratively prop up your brand as a whole, like pillars holding up a ceiling. PC and console can't be the "next big" pillar because with D3 sales they are already well established.

No one makes such a precise prediction including 3 EXACT things - "one of the BlizzCon things is a mobile Diablo game made by Blizzard’s 3rd party team in China". No one. Trust me, I have a poker/statistics background - this is NOT a guess/prediction 99,99999% of the time. This is a leak for sure.

I trust you, random internet stranger with a conveniently questionable background.
Okay, maybe i messed up. Because that account is not personal, l didnt know it. So im sorry. And according to what he said, d4 will be open world mmo. But at the same time W. Cheng says there is not any plan for pc yet.
On the other hand i read a message from Blizzard. And it's opposite again.
Thing is, as Diablo community we dont know what will happen, when will happen like always.
We would prefer something like "we are working on d4" instead of mobile game announcement with trailers or gameplays etc. It was that simple.
Do we have to learn it from leaked messages, tweets instead of communicating with our devs? I mean everyone get confuses like that.
Where did I quoted YOU, LTR? My response is to Excalibur. Learn to read, dude.
I never said you were quoting me, dumb dumb. I simply quoted the ridiculousness of 'trust me, I'm random person with probably made up expertise - I know better than you'.

Dont believe these without source.

In all honesty I don't believe Diablo 4 is even a thing, just read Wyatt Cheng's Gamespot response: https://www.gamespot.com/articles/blizzard-responds-to-diablo-immortal-criticisms-ex/1100-6463005/

You can argue D3 wasn't close to ready even when it was released

Yeah, that was for a pc version of Diablo Immortal. Not that they didn't have any pc plans.
