dammit! they deleted my old account!!! i used to be tireburner86...bastards...i was one of the original members when this site started....oh well. anyways i give it 10.5 out of 10 easy...the game is still far spookier than diablo 2 and as far as im concerned thats what the game always intended to do. oh and yeah, level 50 is the max, though most legit players never make it past 35...i once had a warrior legit level 42 which must have taken at least 2 and a half YEARS of regular playing to reach(i didnt dupe, either...that just ruins it).

i like diablo 1 and i would like to enjoy playing it but i cant play it online i can only see myself and 1 other person in the game, not the person in the 3rd or 4th slot... i dunno why, so i think im just gonna go out and buy another copy or something...

the dueling in diablo 1 was The greatest its a 10 outta 10 for me always and forever

LOL D1 was by far the best PC game ever Yes i said it EVER lol i played it more than D2 .... naw i didnt lol but D1 was awesome untill everyone hacked and all you did was press F5 and have godly gear i did it for a while then after that the game went corrupt no one was legit anymore... lol but the Diablo series best EVER!

The best thing I can remember about d1 (I have not played it in many years) is the feeling you get running around knowing your about to run into a boss, the feeling that there is somthing coming in the darkness and you can not see it... that is what makes d1 stand out from any other game, the "scare factor" i guess you could call it.

I give it a 10. I bought that game a week after it came out in 1997. I saw my friend playing it on the computer, and i was like "instantly" hypntised. When you are playing it you feel like you are sucked into a different world. It is deffinitelly more creepier than D2 , (D2 is juicy).
It was deffinitelly the best RPG at the time. Yeah well, i am playing it since then, Diablo, the expansion pack Diablo: Hellfire, Diablo for Playstation, Diablo 2, D2:Expansion, i got them all man. i never stopped playng the game.
I can deffinitelly say that Diablo series is the best game ever (to me at least)

i give it a 9. the only thing holding it back for me was the fact that i couldnt get online to work. but thats probably not even the games fault.

The game was made by Sierra, the company that makes that shitty game Delta Force. I am in school at the moment when i get home I will make an ISO image of the game and post it somewhere so u can download it. You can find some info about the game on the internet.

ok back on topic i would give d1 8 all the hacks srewed it up and i remember playin for an hour trying to figure out how to get to diablo i cant remember exactly wat hapend though i havent played for a long time ive been playin D2 LoD

I would give it an 8. I like the story and the fact that you can solo it, aslo got to love some good armor and weapons, but the fighting system can really improve from the point and click...in all I love the game D1 and D2 =)

I also give it an 8. I've had a horrible experience trading and acquiring great items/weapons/armour/accessories.
