cause i think everyone should have to beat the first one to be allowed to go and play number 2 and then when number 3 comes then people should have to beat 1 and 2 then u can start. number 1 was so fun and this game was really dark compared to 2.i miss that part of the game. lol u will be runing and have no clue that so 1 is following u. lol oh well hopefully in the 3 one they will get it right.
Diablo beat it
Diablo hellfire beat it
Diablo II beat it
Diablo II LOD beat it
(including numerous repeat beatings)
Diablo III beating it pending

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

I liked playing Castlevania and Golden Axe such games so when I found the Diablo box in stores in 1997 and looked and the backside of what the game looked like, I directly bought it Everything looked so real and even the package already looked very promising and creepy with a dark and chique box and even the manual smelled like middle-age
When I started playing at home at first I was a little disapointed about the way of playing by mouse and no joystick and just clicking monsters and that's it and everything looked so small especially on a 15 inch monitor that time. But after a day playing I got used to it and ofcourse hooked. I would never want it to be different now. And although rendered out small, te graphics are really really perfect and spheric, the diablo world sucks you in.
Actaully I only played through the game once with the rogue class but untill D3 is coming I think I am going to play diablo1 again as well. Though I believe it would be somewhat frustrating compared to Diablo 2 (limited stash and gold and no running mode for example and only 640 resolution).
They probaby still have all the 3D models of everything in Diablo 1 so it would be cool to bring back classes from the first to D3, for example the male sorcerer. They would only have to add animation for running. More classed means more replay. I diablo 2, I dont mind playing the game all over again each time with a different class.
Blizzard should also maybe consider a 3D remake of the orignal Diablo game and add some of the D2 features to it.
Diablo 1 - beaten with all 3 characters
Hellfire - beaten (some1 stole my CD - and its no longer produced, bugger)
Diablo 2 - beaten with all characters
Diablo 2 LoD - beaten (didnt like assasin and druid, tho)
the way the story goes doesnt make it necessary to play the games before in order to play the game and have fun with it. But if u know some more things and how it was in Diablo 1 it really makes the story and the cinematics even better
i beat them all but i have to say i was a mad haxxor/duper in diablo 1 But everyone had the exact same equipment in diablo 1 I cant remeber the items anyone remeber lol!
beat everything repeatedly and wish i found more people that were true to the games and did not hack with every char and depend on hacks for every tiny fucking thing but yeah anyway all the games were great every time i played them i love games that you can play over and over and over again

You can tell the same lie a thousand times but it never gets any more true so close your eyes once more and once more believe that they all still believe in you......
The things i remember about Diablo 1 is:
The Butcher
The Skeleton King
Reading about some guy name Lazuras or something like that
Poking at cows to try and reach the cow lvl which would never work
people tricking me into walking into the catacombs or church so they could kill me b/c i was never good at dueling in diablo1
and for some reason i really hated the famous peg leg wirt in that game

I wonder why no third party ever made an expansion for Diablo II. Perhaps nobody could equal her graphics for making a new act.
