hey the storyline was pretty good actually, its just the fact the many people were to busy shitting their dacks to pay any attention to it

I got my battle chest in january with everything in it. I played D2 LoD but didnt play Diablo 1 and 2. This summer I installed played it a little and then wanted to see how was b-net on it. I was just starting and i had all the good and unique stuff so I got bored and just quit but now Ill try to play again when I have time. LOL

Yea it explains alot and stuff but i found it to be boring and now it just plain sucks but it is a classic

When i played i knew only the first 2 quests: kill butcher, kill skeleton king.

Man I used to love diablo. I remember always trying to get a Apocolypse staff. It was such bull. Sorry yall, no cussing on the website. My favorite quest was probably The one where you get the armor of Valor. I hope you all remember that. Good ol' d1. Brings back some good memories. As unfair as the game was.

hey ferret where do you get the monster you have killed counter. I Want that. Yeah I think everyone here who is a hardcore diablo fan should read the manual for d1. It explains so much about the war between heaven and hell. Like where magma demons came from (who remembers those) just to ruin that story for you so you might want to read more, they came from mephisto's blood. An angel struck him and blood dripped on the ground making demon after demon.

I love that game...If they can keep the great games coming Blizzard will go down as one of the greatest game companies ever.

That was my favorite game until diablo 2 came out. I beat it 4 or 5 times. But like Ferret I never beat it at Nightmare or Hell, so I think I'm going to have to go for it. Each time thou there were different random mini quests in the game in addition to the main quests, if i remember correctly...

I didnt really play games on pc tell d2 ..so never really got in to d1 i played it after 2 and thot it was borig

I've always played games on the PC over consoles. My Xbox 360 is covered in dust at the moment

Diablo 1 = Beat it, loved it, still playing it from time to time
Hellfire = Beat it, think Sierra did a crappy job, havn't played it since
Diablo 2 = Beat it only on nightmare before LoD
LoD = Beat it, loved it, still playing it from time to time

I started with D1 also...
beat it pretty quickly too. Then I got D2 Classic - that was also a breeze.
Hmm...pretty sure I got D2:LoD, beat it, then got Hellfire as a Christmas present...and beat it.

Diablo is so great. I kinda wish that Diablo II could have had the same eerie feeling that Diablo I had.

yea diablo was much darker/scarier then d2 or lod specially in the catacombs
