I have just been online playing Diablo. And it seems as though it is up and running, much smoother than LOD aswell. So I propose that we organise a game of Diablo and go whoop the lord of terror where it all started!
-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
What is "recently"? Because I have been playing it, and it wasn't too long ago...
i dont i only heard of it not sure if it was true, wanted to get some confirmation about it, it was supposedly a few weeks or so ago.

Yes they did disable the battlenet play for Diablo quite a while ago, but they have recent;y brought it back up. I went on two days ago and I chung-boed some weeny little noobs who thought they were all that and a bag of potato chips!
I got the battle chest a while ago (because someone stole my cd keys) and I re-installed both d2 and d1.
Diablo one is frigin awesome! It is a classic and the sounds of the butcher when he first opens his big yapper still makes me soil my armor!
started a character a while ago too but lately i dont have much time to play anything other than WoW (takes too much time).
Another thoing wrong with WoW- extreme time commitment- theres a kid at my old school who missed out on school for a whole quarter and failed because he had raids to do....that game is so stupid and horrible.

Stars aligning fragments of the memories
Parallel truth, awaken in translucence
Sealed by this deadened song
Sinking in toneless comatose
Come and tear my skin, fear what's within
Its massive darkness filling my world
Submerged rage writing unspoken words
yeah, i remember playing Diablo a while back, but the only copy i had was an old burned one, which newer computers wouldn't read, so i bought it off my friend for $5, because he had the battle chest.
I'm up for a game of old-school Diablo anytime though (currently on a WoW hiatus)
Yeah, Diablo 1 was fun when i was younger, I dont think its that great anymore though. Its good for when you dont have d2
