The temptation is too great to resist. Diablo 1 is very difficult... until you get one of each exlir and make fifty or sixty duplicates of each, thus jacking your character up the equivalent of ten levels.

Lol ya, dupeing is gay. I mean, it's not a challenge after.

Duping is a challenge though. I'm dupingly challenged. Especially with gold. So it's easiest for me just to dupe Arcane's Valor.

I just do it the old fashion way. Past the game over and over intell I get all the stuff I want.

lol that game was soo hacked, i remember using DBD, Bead by Dawn (yes taken from evil dead) and having my friend type funny things while i dueled others, Like "im typing with both hands and kicking ur ass at the same time.

myself only using the mouse and him using the keyboard, We would spam bone spirit and kill everyone, also we had the stash hack where u could hold infinite items, we would go in games and start dropping 100's of diff peoples ears

The town kill was great to. Ask people to dual u and after they say no several times u just strike them down in town

i remember when a hcker was rare and when you found one you'd say "can i have books please???" and then i got an editor when diablo wasnt as popular

Hacking sucks to me.... so I agree. Hacking is just like... lame. Unfair no challenge it just gets boring.

I only played D1 when I was little, I always kept getting to the butcher but onee time I got so far and didn't know what I was doing, and I don't feel like going back even thought I know it would be fun now.

I'd play the first Diablo right now if only I had my own copy of it. I miss everything about it. Especially all the dialogue and books in it. And the golem with the crappy AI.

I have a copy, and I play it from time to time. its gaming gold.

I remember the guy at te entrance to the castle : "... Avenge my death."

I remember him too but I never spoke to him I usually just step over his body.
