Diablo Hellfire was an expansion to Diablo. It was made by Sierra, not Blizzard. It's pretty much crap, though the Monk class would be usefull, simply for the item find....
I never knew there was an expansion for diablo,
was it any good?
It remains the one Diablo title I've yet to play. Of course, it wasn't made by Blizzard but Sierra. I've heard many mixed things about it. But I think the average Diablo fan appreciates it nonetheless.
Multiple difficulties
new items
new class/es officially it adds one new class, the Monk, but a hack can be performed to enable a bard (two weapon holding rogue) and a Barbarian (two weapon holding warrior)
new areas (one good one bad)
lots of new baddies, some good some are complete shit
"stairs to town" stay open upon going to a new game. so of you dont pick up any EXP until lvl 13, you can just skip the first 12 stages on your next run through
new spells
several old spells are now learnable, previous they were only avaiable through the use of a scroll, though be ye warned, this spells come at a high maigc cost. you need 149 magic to learn apocalypse (The warrior will require maxed magic (50) and at least 5 items of the zodiac (+20 to all stats) to learn it)

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.

God no, it was hardly crap. Two whole new areas, multiple quests, new items including the awesome Bovine Plate armour. The new area beneath the cemetary is just awesome. Hellfire just about doubles the content of the game! How can you call that crap?

It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
