All of you would actually be surprised at how many Diablo 2 addicts didn't even play Diablo 1. Of course I'm assuming every1 here has played it. But who actually beat it??????????

"You are like a rose in a great rose field. Each rose is so beautiful to me. But if one dies... I can still look at many other roses..." God of Darkness.
I've played and beat the original Diablo multiple times over the years. Since my parents didn't allow games on their PC, I had to settle with the Playstation version, so I didn't get to have the joys of playing online.
It was still fun, though. I'm thinking about going out and buying the Battlechest just to have a PC copy of Diablo (and also for a new code for my second Lord of Destruction disc ).
i have beaten it online and off. with hacks and without them. single player has a different way to get to diablo though. but still its fun when you get there.
My brother beat it years ago, I played it last week when i was on vacation visiting my grandfather, He plays computer games too! lol, any way i didnt beat it but...i played it lol i got to level 6 outa 16.

I am not a fan of Jazz music.
on a good day.... Optimistic and freedom-loving Jovial
and good-humored Honest and straightforward
Intellectual and philosophical
On a bad day.... Blindly optimistic and careless
Irresponsible and superficial Tactless and restless
I played and beat D1 like over a decade ago or something. I don't even remember most of the storyline.:D
But yeah, I was just annoyed at how long it took to walk places, so I only beat it on the Warrior and the Sorcerer. Then I gave up on that and went back to playing Sega Genesis. Then DII came out, and well, you all know the rest of that story.
A year ago I began playing diablo again, man that was a nostalgic feeling!!
I was a lvl 33 rogue with two rings of the heavens (+15to all attributes for each) and the eaglehorn (elite long battle bow) and the demonspike coat (best elite armor in the game armor:100), afterwards my hard disc was busted... that sucked
Arr that sucks, what i found out is in D1 you can play a Multiplayer character "offline" meaning you can play in the multiplayer format, but you don't have to be connected to the internet. I didn't know that until last year lol.
But half of the quests arent available in Multi which sucks big time, since some nice gear is missed out on, like arkaines valor.
I still remember the day i first played d2, it was completely different to ANYTHING i had ever played, the surroundings, darkness and scenery.
Diablo 1 was really really slow since you had to walk EVERYWHERE, and since some monsters ran away faster than you could walk, sometimes made killing stuff really difficult.
I have but i could never play it again simply because you cant run..... omg its TOOO damn slow to go back and forth between the town and catacombs to sell items..
This game is awesome, without it we wouldn't be here.
One of the first games I actually bought with my own money. It has a special place in my heart.
Even if you have to walk through all 20 stages. (levels 1-16 + 4 bonus quest stages)

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
I played and pasted it a couple of years ago. The game is nice, but I never installed any patches or anything so I don't know anything about the online gameplay.

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
Online is pretty good, but make sure you get a group of friend together and make your own game, too many hackers.
The worst are the ones that give you "crash" items. You pick them up and the crash you game or worse, they have been known to delete characters. No idea how they do that but they do.

I finished it, but I couldn't get to Diablo. There was this thing you were supposed to do to open the door and I just couldn't get the door open even when doing those trap things. It was really wierd...

Oh my god, a post from the future!
Currently I'm playing DI, and once I'm finished, I'll start DII

To find the truth, you must risk everything.

2 with Warrior
1 with Rogue
1 with Sorcerer
It makes you appreciate Diablo II more imo
Staff of Apoc anyone? with unlimited charges haha
