While she, like Farhnam gave you no quests, at least Farhnam had something to say about the other quests.
Gillian most common line of dialog was something along the lines of "I do not know much about that, you had better ask Cain the Elder."
She did that for almost every quest it seems.
At least with Farhnam you felt his pain when talking to him about the Butcher (which killed all his friends) or about King Leoric, and let us not forget his immortal line in regards to the poisoned water supply. "You drink water??!!!"

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Yeah, I know she didn't contribute much to the storyline, but pretty little bar maidens are supposed to be somewhat naive and innocent (well, except for those lusty, buxom wenches who can drink you under the table and who'd rather be battling the Hordes of Hell by your side than playing it safe working at the inn... but I digress).
I've always kinda looked at her as the damsel for whose safety I was fighting.
And I LOL every time I hear Farhnam say that line. Hehe.
He hiked up his prices so he can make some money to take Gillian to Lut Gohlein. Well that's his story anyways. Guess he didn't get that far, since he body litters Tristram in D2.

what he said.
Farnham was the one character I really felt sorry for like in my gaming experience. That guy just felt real.
Can't see how anyone can choose Wirt considering how abused his leg, his other leg, and especially his 'third' leg has become. There's freaky, and then there's freaky.
Cain easily. He is the only one I could put up with.
