I just beat Diablo I, and I gotta say it was an amazing experience. I always wanted to go back and play it, since I started with D2. I couldn't stop playing D1 single player, it was so fun. The monsters, the music, the dungeons, the npc's.... everything was fantastic. I was so proud of my warrior he pwnt everything. well ta, thats all i wanted to share.

One could argue the reason it is so good is the lack of running.

Yeah I actually don't think I'd like running in Diablo 1. In town it would be nice obviously. But I'm just too used to walking down below. And why would you run? There's spikey things and walls and hard corners all over the place.

I think you could run in D1 on the playstation.....not sure if you could in dungeons tho

I love D1, I fall back to it when D2 wears on me. If you ever stumble across the Staff of the Apocalypse it is quite sweet for finishing off Diablo in the end.

Wise ElderYup that is about it, other than that it's still a fun game. Love walking by the dead guy at the chapel so I can click "Your death will be avenged!"
