Hey im new to the mod making community and i need some help. I have downloaded diablo 1 and wat to make a mod of it with my friends. I have a mpg editor and a dll editor but my problem is that when i open the mpq it shows alot of files as .xxx witch i have no idea what to do with. So any help in the form of tools/advise would be awzum.

You need a list of the files inside the .mpq for use with the mpq Editor...
HOWEVER, diablo 1 mod making is nothing like Diablo 2 mod making, a lot of things you may wanna change is by HEX editing the .exe of the game not in the .mpq file .

I guess those 2 websites has all the internet has to tell about diablo 1 mod making, all else was long forgotten...
I remember playing around with that Mod Studio to spawn the removed monsters, some are very cool as the Bone Demon or Incinerator !
