there's the possibility that someone hacked your account and "abused the economy". happened to a guildie of mine that hadn't played for 2 years (got a mail that told him he was getting banned - one that was real). anyway, he contacted Blizzard and it was easily solved.
the bugs could be a result of the streaming client. if not everything is downloaded or installed it appears there are problems (that dont exist after you finish with the download).
I am worried. My GM is pissed. He is talking about quitting. >.<;
Aside from that, I WANT MY DAMNED BLIZZARD BACK!!!
Grr.
Aside from that, I like this patch. Best patch I've seen in a very, very long time.
Also, has anybody went to the Valley of Strength and seen the conversation between Warchief Thrall, Jackass Hellscream, Chieftain Vol'Jin, and the badass Eitrigg.
I love it. Level 20 shuts two level 80 elites up like it's nothing. <3
Also, who is hoping Vol'Jin kills Hellscream and becomes the Warchief? (That is assuming Thrall doesn't come back - knock on wood.)
haven't checked the horde quests (or any of the Alliance ones tbh). been checking out the mechanics (and found motivation to explore the world before Deathwing breaks it).
will probably take my undead mage to check it out, then. should be nice to watch. i'm also thinking about making a troll shaman, i started to like trolls alot lately!
Patch 4.0.1 changes are all balanced around 85 content. Yes balance at this moment is off, but it's for a few weeks. Blizzard won't work their heck off to balance things around content that soon will be left in the dust.
So tbh I wouldn't make a big deal about it right now. It may prove to be similar at 85, and then might be the time to complain, but right now it's just useless.
actually mages aren't as buffed as Moonkin druids. sure, many of the changes made our rotations far better but the buff itself wasnt huge (it was "decent" considering mages were nerfed for every single patch fron WoW release up to the WotLK patch). I think players who play mages are more versatile and can adjust easier to changes, good or bad, that's why it seems they're OP right now. Warriors got hotfixed and they seem quite decent to play. DKs don't have as easy a time to aoe tank as before and paladins kinda rock, yeah.
i wouldnt say its broken. at least no more than WotLK patch was before its release. I remember going into Black Temple and taking down trash packs to aoe instead of the "normal" procedures at that time too. It's just that the classes have gone through serious changes and most people haven't figured out good rotations just yet. once that happens it will be back to normal.
All I know is that I still hate rogues. They sap you then kick your ass.
And yes, Magi (The plural of Mage) are stronger, which is nice, but considering we lost Blizzard until level 52, I think it's understandable.
Still, I like the leveling experience. Anything, and I mean anything, that makes leveling either easier or more fun (Either one, both are good) is supported by me.
I will say this though, it is incredibly fun to run a BG as a Fire Mage, running and casting Scorch at the same time. For once I actually enjoy BG's, even if I am a clothy.
Also, which is better? Wrath/Starfire or Hurricane? In WotLK I always just spammed Hurricane, but with this sun/moon bull it's confused me.
The only reason I talk as I do is because I am about level 47, and I am a terrible PvP'er.
My druid though, is level 80. I wonder if they are going to make gear between 80 and 85 look good like they did in WotLK, or if we are going to have more Clown Suits like 1-70.
The clownsuits looked retarded. In Wrath you looked like you actually had gear that belonged together. I thought the leveling armor was one of the best improvements in Wrath available.
Really?
The armor was almost the worst part of Wrath, they went way too far with the 'everything is supposed to look like it fits with the other pieces' deal.
There's what, 10 models for shoulders in Wrath?
That's just... I mean it's just fucking retarded.
Also, the new tier 11 looks like shit.
Jesus Christ, what kind of idiot came up with that shit?
I actually liked the gear in wrath, aside from the weapons. Not enough variety in the Weapons.
And T11 looks kick ass, except the shoulders for the rogue and the warrior.
Personally, I think I'd shoot myself if I had to wear a bright pink hat, dark brown shoulders, purple chest, green shoes, red pants, blue bracers, and orange gloves.
should see the Burning Crusade tanking gear i got for my warrior... he looks like a clown (except for the shield that i got in Wrath). i didn't raid with him so the gear looks... really not dangerous. i think i taunted the monsters just with the ugliness of the gear

Hunters are OP. O.O At my level, anyway. Craaaazy damage. FORGET about your pet holding aggro lol.
All of the changes are really good (and much needed). From what I'm seeing, nobody's getting nerfed, everybody's just having to re-learn their class.
I have high expectations for Cataclysm, and high hopes. Mayhaps the game will no longer be terribly easy.

My mage kicks ass in PvP, as long as there are no rogues. (As always, fucking op rogues,)
All Blizzard Reps play rogues... -.-

Also, the feathers coming off the Druid shoulders, awesome sauce.
