My only concern with your build would be that it lacks burst. If the wizard is going to play the role of an oldschool frost mage (before it was spam IL profit), and be the snare / cc'er, then your role would be to line up the burst. I feel like the team youre planning on playing is going to be much closer to the destro lock / frost mage / druid or sham comp tho. Line up CC - burst - win. I would swap out entangling shot for some kind of a bigger nuke, and opt out for your wizard to run arcane orb and the passive that says arcane damage snares for x secs, imo.

my thinking was we have pin downs from 2 people, wizard and dh. and have peels from the melee class.
the slows from the wizard and I would increase my own dmg, consistently.
Depending on how peels go I would swap out a indigo gem on shadow power and replace with obsidian.
This team takes the idea from mpr in wow.

i think your right about the engtangling shot, ill re take a look at possibly elemental arrow replacing that.
