New Up and Coming Website where fellow PvPers can organize battles against each other for gold prizes! I hosted something similar to this back in D2Classic days (Clan Rune-X) for SoJs and had a pretty large player base.
There will be Free Entry tournaments were you can battle 1v1 against other players for no entry free required and win the given pot specified (winner takes all). There will also be tournaments with entry fee's that will be distributed among top 3 ranking players.
Ex. 50 entry's at 10m a head - 500m total pool - 1st. 300m, 2nd 150m, 3rd 50m
Tournament Duels will be held in the new dueling zone in patch 1.0.7 with one D3T admin and 2 players for the 1v1 Fight. Tournament page will be updated on site Live! also streamed on Twitch so you can keep up to date with the action.
Rules and Limits will be announced after patch is droped and closer to tournament time.
If you'r native language is Swedish, we have a site with tournaments as well. D3pvp-site since 2011: http://www.Diablo3pvp.se
Contests from time to time with rewards and such. Stream etc. etc.
Also for D3Tournaments.net im working atm on Player Profile page, where players can upload there items/specs and show records of wins/losses for duels/tournaments hosted by D3T.
Hopefully have the profile page up and running by the time 1.0.7 drops, but in the meantime, the website is ready to roll for PvP! Just need to get some playerbase and i have lots of donations ready to give away in some epic tournaments! cant wait to see you all there!
How do you sign up? Do we have to wait for you to finish the Player Profile page?
once 1.0.7 drop you will be able to sign up for each tournament when they are announced. till i get the player profiles ready there is always signing up to the forums, following twitter, and also twitch(links at bottom the website) that i will be streaming PTR and other D3 on till PvPs release.
Be some of the first to be a part of D3Tournaments.net - so when we hold the free weekly Tournaments you'll guarantee an spot.
-Reminder the First tournament that is hosted will be 100 million winner takes all single elimination tournament.. more details to come close to patch date.

I signed up on your forums and challonge, looks like I'm the first one. I'm Odetta
Cool concept by the way.
there will also be Weekly Hardcore Tournaments also. Sorry to stay this will be mostly US servers, unless we start to get a playerbase over on EU i don't plan on doing many if any EU Tournaments.
Sounds interesting. BTW Europe support would be great. Please could you tell how are you going to monitor fights?
You and Your Opponent will be invited into the game by one of our site admins, followed by going over the rules, and than entering the PvP designated area where the Admin will follow in and spectate the fight, depending on the rules.. which usually be best of 3 or single elimination. the results will be passed to me were i will update the website/brackets
all the admins are streaming ready and you will be able to watch Live! all the matches as they happen (From as close as possible) without interfering with the match. (unless blizzard implements some type of spectator mode, which is highly unlikely)
it should have a dps bracket so people can gear accordingly like weight in boxing. 100k dps / 200k dps / 300k dps / 400k dps etc.... that should help limit the rich a bit and make it more exciting.

There will be different limitations and requirements for certain tournaments.. some tournaments will be open to EVERYONE , test your skills against some of the best, than there will be lower Tier tournaments for more of a friendly crowd , and ofcourse high stakes tournaments where the Elite can play against each other.
we did take all this information about gearing into account and will plan accordingly.

sounds great. if i cant pvp much, ill definately be watching the winners.
please do tell me how this is going to work out? dont we have to trade gold in game? cant wait for the tons of scamming to go on. ya you can say well those who scam will be banned from the tournaments but when you get those that have a "reputation" that lose BIG they wont pay up. id rather be banned then lose mostly all my gold lawl. and trust me i wont be giving my gold to some "website admin" either that can say o well we've gathered the pool wich is 10b when in fact you could have brought in 20b+ and kept the rest for yourself hahahaha.
best of luck to ya but i dont think this will go too far.

Thank you for your concern, but things have gone into consideration already about scenario's like this. Some of the tournaments we hold will be free entry (coming out of the websites fund to supply the winners with gold).
Other tournaments will be entry based meaning paying upfront before the tournament has commenced (or they will be removed from the bracket and replaced with another player who is on waiting list and ready to pay)..
all gold will be held by admins and if any problems do occur we have more than enough gold to back up any problems with payments.
If you do not like the payment method you do not have to enter the tournament and are free to join the free ones.
well my advice to you would be this. when gold is thrown into the pot (admin) it should be streamed the entire time so that people will know the exact amount and see that "admins" arent keeping gold for themselves and yes players should throw in gold before the tournament. also players should stream themselves to see that no potential exploiting/bugs/lag/gear swapping is going on, this would be best for the BIG pots.
maybe a requirement to all of this would be to have a mandatory twitch.tv account and possible side by side streaming on your web page. through your servers of course so that there is no connectivity issues for the players unless twitch.tv provides the streaming through their servers and not the players connection.
and more then likely if this becomes popular ill be using the free side of things most definitely
sounds good other than not everyone's computer can handle streaming software to the point that it will crash/lag there game down and will turn there dueling experience.. admin will be checking profiles threw out the battle making sure no gear change is going on. and other things of such nature (when there not permitted). also there is always the possibility of exploits/bugs but they are not to our knowledge atm and we cannot really do much about them till then.
other than that i'm looking forward to seeing tons of people come on in, duel there asses off, have fun, and win some gold!
lets keep it fun guys, this is a game remember (i know there is always people out there to ruin it for us all) but we can hope
will check back on this post later this evening. any other questions feel free to post on D3Tournaments.net Forums and ill gladly answer or email - D3Tournaments@Gmail.com

well we arent living in the ice age anymore lol. more then likely if their pc can run diablo it can run a stream easily. it doesnt have to be high quality.
admin will be checking profiles threw out the battle making sure no gear change is going on.
this is only possible if these admins are in game with the players using the "inspect" tool and being that duelers will be in another area this will not be possible but im pretty sure you already knew that so i already caught you in a lie. so now who can say that the only ones that are able to see gear changes (admins) aren't rigging the fights?
it seems like youve left some gaps for shady business. working as intended?

lol, this is the last response i will be giving to you, trying to be polite but you have nothing else better to do than basicly sit here and try and dissect every little possible flaw that your mind can conjure up.
admins will be in the battleground arena and same game as players while they are fighting , that is the whole point of streaming the fight , so they will be able to inspect them from that distance and able to check for gear swapping and cheating.
on the lighter side like i said eariler xD were looking to have fun and host some organized tournaments that many people in the d3 community have sought after. nuff said - good day
