anyone know a good site or program for making a virtual build before I dive in to buying things?
Obviously I could use Cyberpower or other commercial sites but that doesnt give me all the options, looking for a program that I can build my own just to look at and plug in prices and what not
Don't know of any sites that do that but you could always just ask us here or in the computer thread and we'll be happy to respond with explanations, advice, and critiques on your build.

only thing about this company i hate is their customer service. the computer is awesome! but i had to send it back twice to get things repaired that were faulty. once on arrival, and once after they "fixed" what was wrong. now that im passed that stage they have good builds. Even if you dont want to buy from here you can read the forums they have. A LOT of helpful people that are willing to look at builds and give you better advice on where to get parts.
If you have some computer knowledge and dont mind trying to piece together parts, http://www.newegg.com/ has always had the most quality parts for as cheap as you can get them.
Don't know about any locales that do that however you could generally simply ask us here or in the PC string and we'll be upbeat to react with clarifications, counsel, and investigates on your fabricate.

You can go for some pre-built gaming computers as they have very much affordable these days. Some good gaming PC brands that you can look to https://graphicscardhub.com/budget-pre-built-gaming-pc/

Can always go to our parent site mmo-champion, and check out their build of the months. They are usually pretty decent.
