I am starting to incorporate tea into my otherwise coffee saturated day, and I was wondering if anyone had any advice (as I write this, the concept of "tea advice" seems silly) on brands or preparation, or both. Thanks!
Southern Sweet tea is the only tea worth mentioning.

Everybody please sit down, the Tea Master has arrived.
First off Monoctaos, what kind of flavor personality do you like? Iced or Hot? Would you like to drink the tea of royalty? Chinese, Japanese, Indian, etc...? Strength of taste? I can suggest a tea or teas from the following list depending on your preferences and brewing style choice.
The Eight Styles of Tea:
Green Tea
Oolong Tea
Black Tea
Chai Tea
Floral Tea
Puerh Tea
Rooibos Tea
White Tea
Would you want fruit infused, flavored, and/or scented or none of the three? I will have further questions to help you select a tea.

That is quite sad. But intriguing considering I make all my food in that lovable big box.

Just about all the teas originated in the South Asian and East Asian Realms. China was the first to make tea. All teas come from one bush that has different varieties due to locational differences. The type of tea made from the leaf depends on how it is processed. The Chinese guard their tea making secrets with a passion so us "Foreign Devils" don't imitate them. Also, Americans and Europeans first drank and continue to drink the tea of Mongols, with Chinese Green Tea gaining in popularity.
I am Caucasian. Not Asian.

Umpa, southern tea is waaaaaay to sweet for my tastes. Makes my jaw lock up when I drink it.
Black Pearl is a nice tea and it's just sweet enough on its own that you don't really need to add any sugar, unless you like your tea really sweet.
If you like it fruity, cherry pomegranate is pretty good. Again, no sugar needed.

Smiling is infectious.
Give, expecting nothing thereof. ------------ BoD - Come have some fun! Folks will always come and go, so enjoy them while they're meant to be in your life.
Go to your local tea shop and ask for it. Also as a tip for anybody looking for tea, if it isn't puerh but says fermented or fermentation anywhere on the package. Fucking run like hell, those people are trying to steal money from you by acting smart when they really need to do their homework.
