Any fans of Thief: the Dark Project/Thief Gold, Thief II: the Metal Age, or Thief: Deadly Shadows?
Which one was your favorite? Which did you find the most difficult?
I myself have only played a portion of the Dark Project and I've completed Deadly Shadows However, I've placed an order for Gold and the Metal Age, they're on their way to my house.
Out of the 2 I have played, the DP was much more of a challenge. DS had more "freedom" to it, wandering the City between missions, etc...
God Damn i thought i was the only Thief Fan! Ive loved the game since I was like 10 years old. I have them all (I think its been awhile since ive acctully seen the disks) but i havent beaten deadly shadows yet, i never had time 2 do it, but i will soon (The cradle scares the shit out of me!). I think that DP was more challenging too. Theif has one of the best themes for a video game ive ever played (besides d3 and sc). Also theres this game coming out for the PS3 called Assassin's Creed, its made by the prince of persia guys, but it has Theif vibe to it.
Thief is a fantastic series, and one of my favorite. I wish I had time to finish Deadly Shadows ,but I couldn't. You may want to try the unofficial expansion for Thief 2, it isn't too bad.
