"It appears that there at least twelve of us down here from what I can see." this statements confused Dagon to no end, obviously they were in the company of one who was more than human. He would have to remember this voice.
He heard a man whimper, a man scream in anger, and deep meditative breathing coming from a corner of their cell. Heh.... different means of accepting their fate for different people he thought, still overwhelmed that this had actually happened.
He heard an agonized scream next to him, and suddenly, their means of escape came to him.
"Safe to say none of us wish to stay here, so, follow my lead, we're going to get out of this one way or another." he said to the darkness, hoping his comrades were listening.
"GUARD, HELP, A MAN IN HERE IS TRYING TO FREE HIMSELF WITH MAGIC!!!" he yelled out of the doorway, praying to whoever was listening that the guards would come, and would come with keys.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
"Well, I'll break the ice. My name is Donsro, and I am willing to do whatever it takes to get out of this rathole." Dagon nodded at the man, then scoffed at himself for not realizing it would go unseen.
"Aye.... I think we're all willing to go whatever it takes to get out of this, what it will take though, is another matter entirely." he said to the darkness, feeling a wave of helplessness wash over him. What the hell WILL it take for us to get out? he thought, the feeling of hopelessness growing stronger and stronger every passing moment.
"You alright? Might want to keep a close eye on these other men, we don't know of their sanity."
"BROTHER, thank Tyreal you're safe." he said, suddenly feeling better about this situation. "You faring any better than me? Maybe you've got a loose shackle over there?" he chuckled, somehow finding humour in these dire circumstances.
"I am Vaker, pleasure to meet you" came another voice from the darkness, near where one of the glowing bracers were.
"Heh... I don't think we need formalities down here friend, but it is a refreshing change from the rest of this god forsaken cage." he felt around, wondering if they were even in a cage. He slowly lifted himself up, and inched along a curved wall. He felt the oiled wood, several crates, and eventually hit a solid wooden wall. Slowly feeling his way along it, he found a barred door, giving off some odd form of light.
Fuck.... they've thought of everything.
He slumped down near where his brother's voice came from, and introduced himself to the darkness.
"Well.... name's Dagon, guess we might as well get to know each other if we're going to be slaves the rest of our lives."

Drangar was awoken from a deep sleep. His eyes flickered as they attempted to adjust to the dim light in the cell block where him and many others were being held in. He sat upright in the corner he was in, and saw a silhouette of a man rocking in the corner of the cell. Drangar's senses were beginning to come back to him as his eyes began to take focus. Dagon. He thought to himself. He stood up and stumbled, for his legs had not yet become accustomed to the sea. He made his way towards the corner his brother was in, who seemed to be in a state of shock.
Drangar knelled next to his older brother, "You alright?" He asked. "Might want to keep a close eye on these other men, we don't know of their sanity." Drangar said as he awaited a response from Dagon.

How can this be happening...Dagon thought to himself, rocking back and forth to the rhythm of the waves.
He didn't handle stress well, and this situation was well beyond what he could fathom. His village destroyed, his parents left to unknown fates, and he and his brother taken captive by slavers, for reasons they did not know.
He looked around, saw other figures sitting within the room. It was dark, save for glowing bracers on several of the figures wrists. Dagon assumed these were to prevent magic from being cast.
How the hell could simple slavers afford such devices, let alone capture a mage?
His questions would go unvoiced, he preferred to sit in silence, slowly rocking back and forth as the ship came closer and closer to their inevitable destination.
"Hello? How many others are there?" he said to the darkness, hoping answers would soon come.
