It's almost guaranteed that the game will be larger and more difficult to simply rush someone through it. I agree that rushes are stupid and ruin the primary purpose of the game.
What's so fun about following a bot in the Chaos Sanctuary or during a Baal run? That's why 99% of my games were private solo games.
I like your idea, Snotspill. I would have to agree with it. Another thing about the undead and skeletons is that you should be able to chop off limbs and stuff before they die.
I think instead of having a damaged weapon/armor indicator on the right side of the screen, you should have to guess on how badly damaged your item is, and have it repaired before it breaks. And each time it fully breaks, you will lose durability on that item, and after about 5 times of fully being destroyed, it will be no longer repairable, and you will have to find a new item to use.
I think they should have something where you have two stones, and you designate one stone to one place, and then you use the other stone to warp there. It would be kind of like the warping thing that Ocarina of Time had.
I think we all want it to be the most frightening game ever, and I agree with you: gold needs to have a MUCH higher value, and PKing needs to be limited down significantly. I also mentioned in a post earlier (not sure if it is in this thread or not) I said that I want the game to have no comical events. I want the game to be downright badass. A feeling of hopelessness with every possible odd against you. No NPC's acting silly and telling jokes. This is serious. The world of Santuary is in danger, and everyone knows it now.
Diablo will be M rated. How can you fight the forces of evil and not see blood, gore, and torture? It's not possible. Warcraft is meant to be on the corny side, so they don't even need blood, which gives it the T rating and it makes it appealing for younger audiences.
