and let it stay that way. for even he is humanoid, notice the giant axe at his side?? he slays his enemies and cripples hostile armies with it. hope that helps darkjay.
about the buther and leoric, i think we have those already. the smith and hephasto the armorer both look like the butcher. pindleskin looks alot like leoric also.
what i wanted to bring up, and i dont know if its been said, is rivalry. people can choose to be your rivals for competitive reasons and the game keeps count of monsters you kill in all difficulties. then the total is tallied and you two can keep count of each other trying to outdo the other.
i dont know if i brought it up before, but having a pay-first tournament would be cool too. you have to pay the total first into a small stand in each base (ie. rogue camp, harrogath) and whoever kills the other gets the amount. if one runs away, the would-be victor collects the spoils anyways. that way we dont get noobs cheating or people taking advantage of others.
imagine if they utilize it and use it to start a little branch that develops its own engines. it'd be sick if they made one even better for d5-8 and sc4-7. and also they wouldnt have to buy it from anyone.
couldnt have said it better myself. well yes i could have but it would somehow involve a very long and thick sword and barneys head rolling on the floor as the body runs around like that of a chicken.
well i would still knock some heads off some shoulders if i dont get my new diablo in the next 2 years. they have till 2008 to make it. then ill just loose myself.
at first that idea seemed wrong to me but then you stated your reasons and i totally agree with you. only those true to the game will get these items. they should be truly godly items that offer super unfair advantages against others. the catch is that it is assigned forever to the account that found it. for instance i find one and pick it up. this item cannot be traded and can never get picked up by someone else should you drop it. this will guarantee that lag and accidents wont be unfortunate to that person. or maybe it should be assigned after identification. that way i can pick it up and give or trade to a freind and it would be fair for all.
