I think the time-slow and all time controlling ablilities are just a name, it doesn't actually affect the speed of other players. Or perhaps those spells are global, meaning it it only affects monsters. That would make him an invaluable asset in PvE, but underpowered in PvP, since it wouldn't affect other players.
Personally though, I think the story is very fishy at best. I mean, you virtually beat the crap out of all demons 5 minutes ago, and now a new army just popped out of nowhere and lays siege to Harrogath?
Plus, ANY info that says Tyrael is corrupt I will blatantly refuse to acknowledge unless it comes straight from Blizzard, in which case I will tear my eyes out and cut off my left hand.

Making a world that is influenced by players? Sure, watch Eve: Online. Cant't get much better thatn that. Note though that I haven't played it myself, but the whole thing is basically drived by players. But also from what I understand is that there isn't much story to it. I could be wrong though.
It's kind of a balance act. THe company will generally want to preserve their story in the way they want. It makes it all more predictable, and less costly. For example, let's say the whole game starts with a war. If it is left to the players, the company won't know which side will win, and will have to develop two storylines simoultaneously, only to throw one out when they know who is winning. Otherwise they don't have anything done when the war ends, and players get mad and leave. And if they only develop one storyline from the beginning, only to realise that the "wrong" side won, and then try to altere the story so that indeed the other side won, players will also get mad.
Plus, it isn't very fun to read of the hero ArraGorN2000 who saved the world. I wouldn't at least.

Most Blizzard fans agree with that. No matter what game they make, we will play it.
But I actually think that there is a lot of content for Diablo, and it still has a great potential. Much of this is due to the fact that the Worldstone got destroyed. As stated in the game, no one knew what would come of it. This allows future developers huge freedom as they only have to stick with the basic concepts. Other than that, their hands are free.

It won't be pointless. If that was the case, then guild wouldn't exist in D2, which they do. But yes, how could it be a bad thing. That was kind of what I was aiming at to bring this thread up again.

Then we will have to come up with our own information. Let's say that D3 would include guild support in-game. Would that be a good thing or a bad thing in your opinion?
I say that it would be all good, since it is just a simple, optional feature that would add a lot of organizing options for guild leaders. For example, a message of the day could be shown to guild-members upon logging in, important information, perhaps a specific menu for all guild members to trade in simultaneously. I mean the possibilities are endless (almost).

No, that's still not proof. It's also an implication. You have showed no credible sources, or evidence, just your own word. Now if humans couldn't lie, I would of course believe you, but since that is not the case, we don't know (for sure).

All arguments for and against has been presented. From this we can conclude absolutely nothing. We can guess with moderate probability that he is not entirely honest, but as to what is wrong we don't know, whether that is his D3 info or some other info not directly related with teh game.

I don't know how many times this has been said, but we will know when Blizzard announces it. For sure that is.

And why does it seem that my posts alway end up on the top of a new page?

We have tons if implications, wishes, and reasons, but no proof.
