I really do appreciate the effort put into making a new system and wanting to better the game, but there are some ideas that are just not practical. Diablo is not a PvP game, and therefore forcing players into it to acquire the best gear, or an advantage over non-pvp players is not possible. D3`s current brawling is a joke, and we all know that because it`s absolutely boring. The `future` arena system where rewards will be just aesthetics and possibly something like a title or rank is fine, but to make it a core part of the game goes against what people played the Diablo series for.
However, I think having a type of minigame with PvP might be fun. Instead of the Scorched Chapel have one of the existing areas (which is blocked off) be spawned and have this whole hunter and prey game, just no rewards outside aesthetics or fun nostalgic junk to keep in your stash.
