Don't get me wrong. It's not that it was Pagans that were persecuted (Though that does hit home for me.) but that we are celebrating hatred. And if you dont celebrate (IE wear green) you get pinched. Alot.
Hitler was a runner in WW1... he may of been a maniac but he was no pussy
St Patricks Day FTW... who cares, its just another reason to get pissed and do a bad Irish accent
This is the exact mindset that drives me insane. (No offense genesis.)
I don't think you should be permitted to celebrate a holiday if you don't know the OBJECTIVE history of it.
I for one will not call it St Patricks Day anymore. It is now officially St Hitlers Day. And instead of wearing green, you have to wear a swastika on your arm, or you get pinched. Same thing right? Just instead of Pagans its Jewish people. Or maybe we can celebrate the slaughter of the Crusades? There are so many evil people we could celebrate today.
dam what i really don't like though is how people openly bag on jews and pretty much jews only... im not talking about this thread, although i did see some and its just humor, but like in real life i'll hear people say "that's jewish" or quit being such a jew. i think its funny, but then if you go and say it about other races i'm sure there will be issues.
enough of that. so who else is going to get shit faced tonight?
I hope you forgive my Holocaust talk. I was simply trying to make a point. I really have nothing against the Jewish, they are usually very nice people.

Stop being such a wetback. Seriously.
You are all out of your minds, its all about St. Ceasar's Day! Conquered most of the known world and basically built the great empire that we know as Rome!! Not to mention, he also killed pagans. Thousands of them. Way more than som St. Patrick, or w/e.
Except the whole St Patrick thing was one religion attacking another, Julius Caesar was a Pagan. Therefore it's like Ireland or Africa today where Christians are fighting Christians.

You're knowledge of the situation is laughable, but it is not an opinion uncommon these days. I knew someone would Bush-hate, you were simply the first.
I'm not going to continue this political war, because it will just start another debate in the inappropiate thread and to be honest no one really wants to like Bush. Me stating why he isn't a bad guy won't do any good because none of you are willing to forgive or like the guy, or look at anything from a different point of you either. And that's on top of the fact that it would be pitting me against the rest of the forum, and I really have no interest in that at the moment.
Continue with St. Patricks Day.
I have nothing against GW. He may not be able to say nuclear, but he is a figure head. His cabnet does most of the day to day work, Congress does most of the major work, and the Supreme Judges allow them to get away with it.
So I hate GW's cabnet, Congress, and the Supreme Judges. I don't have any feelings one way or another about GW himself. For all I care, he could go and become a vegtable and things wouldn't change.
Either way, this thread is about celebrating killers like St. Hitler and St. Patrick.
i think of myself a pagan. but still i dont really give a f**k at the moment who killed pagans and shit.
It's not so much that they killed Pagans, I mean humans kill others that they dissagree with all the time. It's that people celebrate it. I mean would you celebrate the Holocaust?

I haven't actually read anything about him mass killing pagans...though I have read where he drove "snakes" away from Ireland. Of course I've only refreshed my memory by using Wikipedia, and well all know the credibility of Wikipedia.
Yea. Snakes was a metaphor for Pagans. Remember, Christians use metaphors all the time.
Oh wait, my bad. It's St Patricks Day. Same concept though, right? Praising mass killers and all.
Of course, Jewish people might find this offensive, but I find it offensive too. St Patricks day is just like St Hitlers day. So why do we have it? Because nobody gives a fuck about the past. So let's all go get drunk and celebrate St Patricks day and St Hitlers day.
We got Pagans and Jewish people, I wonder who will be Cannonized next, for killing Muslims of course. Hmmm.

Heil Hitler!

Sorry, the two main sites I usualy use are one gone and the other has nothing about St Patricks Day on it. >.<
I should do alot of things...
If a Druid claims to be able to change into a wolf or bear or whatever, he's lying out of his teeth.
Well you have to understand, it's Wikipedia. And while Wikipedia is usually pretty good, it's capable of being edited by anyone.
Which means you or I could go and change it. Or a radical Christian could go in and say it was actual snakes.
What do you mean? I don't think I am following.
And I love that question Alpha. "You believe in Druids?"
By the way, I have a good friend that's a Druid. Well, both he and his wife.

It is true though, eh? St Patrick, St Hitler, wonder who will be next.
