Their response should be dissatisfaction and anger. There is nothing shameful in being molested or raped, it's about time government beat that into their citizens' heads.
Of course that's what it SHOULD be, but 90% of the time that's not what it is.

The only reason why you would not tell that to society is because society, for some screwed up reason, thinks it's a very bad thing or something. Of course, if society is going to look down/pity the molested, nothing good is going to grow out of those with weak stances on life..
So you're saying we should just treat them like everyone else? Sort of like, "Eh, get over it, you'll be alright."
Isn't that like you disliking trainers because they say that about injuries?
And why would it matter afterwards? Unless they have been taught all that rubbish about "shame", it should only remain a memory to them. Unless it has already traumatized them in the past, it should not affect them later... >>
Understand as in them going, "WTF" and being ashamed of what happened to them for no reason, but they probably would. That's not something you'd want to tell anyone if you didn't know any better.
I wonder what they'd say after going through that- I mean, a child hasn't gone through puberty yet, and there aren't many kids that talk about sexual abuse, so I don't think they'd understand what really happened when they were molested... or something... It's gross to think about. No child should ever encounter a situation like that
But once they got older, they would understand what they had went through ... and nothing but bad things stem from that.
Man, I'd be so furious I wouldn't be able to see straight. Even with the legal actions against me, I'd probably most definitely go to jail for what I'd do to the person that did it.
