The rich elite of France give it to the rich elite of America, who then procede to state that it's a symbol of freedom for the poor? It just seems to me personally as a symbol of decadence from one nation to another.
Oh, and fyi, there are two statues of liberty. Look up the one in France. (I cannot remember if the French one or the American one was built first.)
I watched about half of the G20 movie, letting the other half load right now. (Watching it at 720p.) It's amazing how many rights they took away... And if they would take one of my loved ones like that, I'd probably go batshit crazy. <_<
They can be arrested for protesting though. And people have been arrested for peaceful protesting. Remember back when the Thomas Jefferson memorial protest was held over the arrest and prosecution of the lady for protesting peacefully?
A de-centralized force showing the American government that the American people are not afraid of them has given more results. And it's safer then the peaceful public protests too, considering the chance of the police arresting them is far lower. (Because, you know, it's not a public protest, it's a far removed protest attacking something those in Washington hold dear.)

Anyway, yea, at one point I wanted to enlist too. Now...not so much...
Anyway, I added the Into the Fire movie to the original post for easier access to anybody who wants to see it.

No, not really.
The empire growing too large, the military unable to protect all the boarders, the corruption of the Senate, etc.
Never has the freedom of speech been a liability, except to those that would control us.
Now that the FBI is going after Anonymous, I cannot wait to see the full force of Anonymous come crashing down upon the American government.
