It's pretty tough, but challenging in a good way. But this is where you so need to play with friends or at least have a team that really communicates. I mean, in Halo your team can pretty much go off and do whatever, even in an objective and you might fare out okay.
But Left 4 Dead, especially if you are the zombies, you have got to have a plan. Being the Zombies makes you really vulnerable but if you use your special abilities just right and coordinate them with your teammate's other abilities, you can like have your Boomer throwing up on people, right then you want your Smoker incapacitate on opponent, while the Hunter pins another, and so on. But the timing has to be pretty good. I have yet to play a really excellent game of it where there is a lot of team effort, but Warlord and I have done some together and even though I kind of suck at it, it's still pretty fun.
try left4dead my friends play it constantly and say its really fun.
I still can't decide whether I like that game or not. And you really need people you know to play with or you'll have a horrible multiplayer experience.
How would he be going out of his way? He'd just be going his way. Not out of it. Besides, ask weirdos like Krow who play Half Life 2. He wouldn't play it on his computer until he got all his fancy fuckoff gear.
Star Trek: Legacy
Few people I talk to ever like this game. I like being able to command naval battles so I personally enjoyed this one. Ugh! The Defiant! So cool. Quantum torpedoes. My favorite ship though was the Akira class. Eight photon torpedo bays. Stunning.
Orange Box
Known as one of the best values for the Xbox because you get both Half Life 2 and its two following epidoses, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. I loved every game in the Orange Box and played all of them at least twice all the way through. Team Fortress is just a multiplayer game though but it's not as much about the killing as it is accomplishing an objective. Portal is one of my favorite games.
Mass Effect
One of the best RPGs I've played in a very long time. I've played this game several times all the way through. Excellent cinematics, great plot, fun character customization, real time gameplay. It was great. I've already written a lot about this game.
Halo 3
Just kidding.
There are plenty of other games worth renting. But these have been my favorite games to own.
The lack of a built in wireless was definitely one of the biggest jips to the Xbox. I sure hope someone got fired for that.
Link if you do get Xbox Live let me know your gamertag so we can possibly play some games together.
