Sorry guys, I have been busy with a few other ventures in this site. I still plan on continuing this story. Once/if I get zombie tactics off the ground, then I will be continuing the story. I'm glad to hear people are still interested.

The reason Kifu has survived is because I know him. I didn't really know other people's characters. I added them as a fun way to introduce more people but had to kill them off since I didn't really know the character. I am sorry that Ignis had his head bitten off

William, seeing no other choice jumped into the bureau that normally housed his Father's sword. Not knowing what would happen if he jumped into this abyss could certainly have been better than attempting to fight this obvious foe with nothing more than his hands. He did not even have his adult size in this realm to help him in a fight.
William blindly leaped in expecting to hit ground but just kept falling. He opened his eyes to see nothing but darkness. He reached around hoping to feel anything in this void. His arms reached out as his body began to tumble over itself out of control. William's body was spinning on all directions as the feeling all fallen had stopped. William felt more like he was being suspended now rather than falling.
A lightness began coating the darkness as a familiar voice was heard once again. The Angles wings swept across the emptiness to surround William.
"William, your bond with your companions speaks volume of your character. You were willing to face uncertainty in an unknown place then to abandon your friends. Your friends will aid you greatly in the mission you are about to embark on."
"What mission?" William asked, undeniably confident given his situation.
"Much will be shown to you later. For now, return to your friends and rest. You will need all of your strength to continue this journey." Tyreal explained, his voice both assertive and calming at the same time.
"But what about me? What has happened to me? I need to find Natalya to figure out what has happened." William told Tyreal, wanting answers to his questions.
"You have other things to concern yourself with for now. The truth will be shown. Trust me as I have come to trust in you William."
Before William could even respond, he felt a rush move around him forcing him to shut his eyes. He felt his body whirling around, neither falling or rising but moving none-the-less. Then the feeling left, he didn't feel anything but the lack of movement.
William opened his eyes to see all of his friends surrounding him. Kaelan, Gaheed, Sara and even Kifu stood over William in amazement.
"Wha..." before William could even ask what happened, Kaelan had lifted up from the ground. William looked to see he was back in the body that was still mostly unknown to him.
"How did I get here?" William asked the others.
"How should we know..hehe" Kifu replied back to William.
"We saw a bright light strike the ground and we followed it hoping it would lead us to you" Gaheed added in.
Sara rushed up and hugged William. "I am just glad you are safe. I was afraid we had lost you forever."
"What happened to you?" Kaelan asked hoping to get some answers to the strange events that had just occurred.
William was about to answer as the thoughts left his head. "I...I mean...I don't know." William felt like nothing had happened despite knowing obviously something had to have happened to him.
"I can't remember" William finally told the group. "I just have this feeling that we need to be doing something. We must abandon this search for Natalya."
"What? Don't you want to know why you are no longer a boy?" Kaelan asked him confused by William's sudden change in attitude.
"Of course I do but that is not important right now. For now, we need to find a city and rest. I have a feeling we will need it for what is to come" William told his friends surrounding him.
The others did not question William for a second. The followed William, knowing his words spoke the truth.
This will be the end of this part of the Choosy Your Own Adventure. The next part will begin soon and your decisions will once again lead William and his friends on their journey. Thanks to everyone who has participated so far in this fun and exciting endeavor. I am hoping that starting a new part of this story will allow anybody else who wants to join in to do so without being confused about what has happened so far. I will begin the next part with a quick recap of what has happened so far to catch everyone up and get us all on the same page. Once again, thanks to everyone who has helped this story continued for over five months now. I look forward to continuing this tale and seeing what you guys choose what happens to William.

"I need to find something to fight this monster" William thought to himself. He flung open the cabinet doors and searched under each counter. He found nothing but useless cans and miscellaneous trinkets.
"I know, maybe Father's sword is still upstairs" William ran past his parents, desperately hoping to see some reactions on their face. He quickly made his way up the stairs and busted open the door to his parents room. He looked over in the corner and saw his Father's bureau, the one he kept his sword in. William ran over to the cabinet and threw open the doors eagerly awaiting his weapon. When he looked inside, all he saw was a black void.
William took a step back for a second, perplexed by this void. Everything else in the house had been just like it was before besides his parents empty expressions.
William wondered why this all of areas did not exist in this phantom world.
Distracted by this new situation, William briefly forgot about the serpent that was chasing after him. He heard his front door crack and then crash open. The snake slithered into the house hunting down William.
"Get back here boy" the serpent hissed as he swept right past the stoic parents. He slithered all through the house looking for William. "I know you are in here" he beckoned out. The snake saw the stairs and headed for them.
William could here the monsters body making it's way up the stairs. It was only a matter of seconds before the snake would come into his parent's room.
Should William:
A. Attempt to fight the snake.
B. Hide in his Father's cabinet.

"I'm sorry, I can't agree to leave my friends. It is only because of them that I have even made it this far." William explained to the mysterious angel.
"You dear defy my request" Tyreal bellowed out as his wings rose into the air. "Your fate is sealed" He continued as he shot up into the air and disappeared out of Williams sight. "You will be sorry for denying my request" His voice still echoed through the air.
William, a bit confused by what had just happened, walked back into his house that sat in the middle of nothing. He walked through the door to see his parents, still motionless.
"What now?" William said to himself unsure where he was or how to leave. He sat there for what seemed like days. Hunger and sleep however had no effect on him. He did not feel thirsty or the need for food. He stayed awake, never feeling the need for rest.
William sat there in despair, unsure of his future and unsure of his denying Tyreal's request. William perked up when he heard a sound outside the door. Eagerly hoping it was Tyreal again, William threw open the door. However, instead of finding Tyreal, William saw a serpent like creature standing before him. The snake stood twelve feet tall, no legs could be found but the creature had two arms which held two massive swords.
"Welcome to home" the snake hissed out. Without hesitation, the snake quickly slithered his way towards William ready to attack. William jumped out of the way of the snakes first strike. He ran back inside the house and barred the door as best as he could in the short time.
Should William:
A. Attempt to fight the snake.
B. Explore the house.

"Who's there?" William shouted out in frustration. Suddenly a knock was heard on the front door. William looked around to see his parents still unresponsive to anything. He thought back to the last time he heard that noise on his door. The fallen demons who attacked his mother and killed his father. However, this time everything seemed so tranquil. Depite the oddity of his parents, William felt more comfortable.
He slowly opened the door, a bright light temporarily blinded William's sight. He shut his eyes and rubbed them to adjust his vision. Upon reopening them, he saw a silhouette. The form resembled that of a man's but there were unfamiliar protrusions on his sides. Glowing tentacle-like wings reached out from both sides of the man.
William slowly walked outside the house towards the man. The landscape was absent and only a clearness existed around them.
"Who are you?" William asked, more curious than afraid.
"You may call me Tyreal" The voice answered in an omnipotent sound. William shook at the man's voice alone. It did not sound necessarily human and form the wings, William assumed he was not.
"What are you?" William responded after collecting himself.
"That is not important right now" The response gave no answer but William felt oddly satisfied with the answer. "This place is not safe right now. I will free you from this prison but you must promise me to leave your friends and continue this journey alone.
Should William:
A. Agree to Tyreal's request.
B. Tell him that he cannot separate from his group.

"Running will do no good" William said. He pulled out his Father's sword and began swinging at the object. Just as Kaelan's attempts failed, so did William's.
"Hahaha" Kifu chuckled as he rolled on the floor with laughter. "Why don't you guys...hehehe...keep trying that"
The mist began to surround William's body as their attempts to stop it failed. The mist started at his feet and soon rose to his waist.
"Dammit, we need to do something else" Kaelan yelled feeling helpless despite his brute strength. He lowered his axe and attempted to knock William out of the mist. He dove into William knocking him down to the ground but the mist stayed around William as if his position had never changed. Kaelan quickly stood back up as the mist rose to William's neck.
Oddly, William did not say a word during the events. He seemed almost calm as the mist enveloped his body. He made no movements or attempts to escape.
"William!! William!!" Kaelan shouted at him trying to get a reaction out of him.
Kaelan turned around to see Kifu sitting cross-legged on the floor. His eyes shut and he did not say a word. He sat their as motionless as William.
"I am the only one who is trying to stop this" Kaelan shouted out. Again, there was no reaction from either person.
Kaelan looked back to William as the smoke completely covered William. Just as soon as the mist covered William's body, it began to clear. The mist cleared and vanished as did William's body.
"No!! Dammit, where did he go? What happened to him?"
Kifu stood up and replied "He is in another plane. Of which, I am not sure. I was trying to follow his soul but your insensate screaming kept interrupting me. We need to return to the others. Bring the ball with us."
"You want to keep this thing around?"
"You do want William back I assume" Kifa answered seemingly calm given the events that had just unfolded.
Kaelan and Kifu returned to their camp where Gaheed and Sara waited patiently. Both of them asked where William was only to be given the same response Kifu gave Kaelan.
William opened his eyes as he looked around. He saw his house again, his mother and father sitting at the table. He looked down a this body and he was a boy again.
"It was all just a dream" William thought to himself. He stood up and ran over to his parents. "Mom, Dad, I missed you" William cried out as he attempted to hug his parents. His parents did not react to his cries however. They sat there motionless and empty. William took a quick step back and looked closer at his parents. Their eyes were white and their faces had no expression on them.
"What's going on here?" William said aloud as he shook his head. Maybe I wasn't dreaming, maybe this is the dream. Suddenly, William heard that voice a gain. The same voice that had been calling his name.
Should William:
A. Respond to the voice
B. Attempt to wake from the dream.

"Stop hitting me on the head" William yelled out to Kifu as he rubbed his head.
The three men stared at the glowing ball once again. "Kifu, pick it up" William suggested to the bizarre Witch Doctor.
"What? haha I'm not picking that thing up" Kifu laughed back at the boy.
"Dammit old man, make yourself uesful" Kaelan threatened as he held his axe up to Kifu's throat.
"O.k. hehe" Kifu hesitantly replied. He walked closer to the ball and hunched over it. He lowered both of his hands down to either side of it inches away from the actual mass of the object.
"I don't know" Kifu said as he looked back at the other two. Kaelan raised his axe again as Kifu quickly decided to turn back towards the ball.
"Alright, here we go hahah" Kifu grabbed the ball with both hands and raise it out of the dirt. "AAAAAHHH!!!!!" Kifu yelled out.
William quickly ran to Kifu's side "WHAT?! What is it?"
"Nothing" Kifu replied calmly. "Hehehe, I really had you going there" Kifu tossed the ball around back and forth as if it were nothing more than a child's toy.
"Stop playing around" Kaelan shouted at Kifu as he grabbed the ball in mid-air. "That is strange, it's like holding nothing.
Just as the group was getting comfortable with the new strange object and beam of light shot out form the top as Kaelan quickly let of of the object. Rather than falling to the floor, the ball floated in the air with no movement at all.
"What's going on?" William asked the rest of the group.
"How should I know?" Both Kaelan and Kifu responded in unison.
William hesitantly reached out is arm ready to grab the object when a strange mist like substance began pouring out of the ball despite it's lack of holes. The mist began to amass on the floor and crept towards William.
"Run William" Kaelan shouted as he swung his axe at the ball. The axe made contact with the ball but did little else. Kaelan felt his axe reverberate back as if he had hit a giant stone wall.
Should William:
A. Run form the mist
B. Attempt to stop the object

"We have to go see what that was" William announced to the rest of the group. He looked around to see some of their faces weary about the strange object.
"This is too strange between this ball and what happened earlier, I can't let it go" William thought to himself.
"If you do not want to come, you do not have to. I will go investigate the object and return soon after." William explained to the rest of the group.
"I think I am better off staying here" Sara admitted
"Me too" Gaheed added.
"I will go with you William" Kaelan said as he picked up his giant axe and headed towards the jungles.
"I am never one to turn down anything hehehe" Kifu said, also joining them on their investigation.
The three adventurers walked for what seemed like hours.
"Where could this thing be? It landed no more than a couple miles from us" Kaelan asked the other two, well knowing that they would have no answer.
"Maybe the object does not exist hahaha" Kifu explained to the group
"What do you mean?" William quickly asked.
"Don't bother" Kaelan told William "He is just a crazy old man. We all saw the object hit the ground with our own eyes. We all felt it shake the earth."
"Ahh, yes, that is true. But...What if..it does not exist where we are looking for it hehe" Kifu explained.
"Dammit, your talk makes no sense" Kaelan shouted at the strange man.
"Calm down, both of you" William said as he stood between the two men, thinking to himself who would win a fight between these two very different warriors.
Just as William stood in the middle of the conflict, the scenery faded away again. The blackness beneath and the bright light above filled his vision. Once again, William heard his name being called. The anonymous voice drawing him closer to the source.
Meanwhile, Kaelan and Kifu watch as William's body went vacant. They stared in awe, not knowing what had just happened. William's body then began to walk.
"William. Hey, William" Kaelan shouted out but there was no response. William's body just kept walking in a straight line.
"Perhaps we should follow him. hahaha. Maybe he knows where we are going now" Kifu suggested to Kaelan. The two men followed behind William, ever cautious of what was going on.
"William....William..." The voice continued to beckon. The voice became louder and deeper with every pass of his name.
"Who is this?" William yelled out into the emptiness. No answer returned, only his name being repeated. William moved forward with every call, hoping to find who was on the other end. Just when William thought he would never find it, a giant glow filed his vision. A brightness that blinded William from seeing anything.
As the three people passed through a thick overgrowth, a clearing appeared. In the middle of the clearing was the object, now faintly glowing.
"We found it" Kaelan said looking over at William completely forgetting his trance like state.
"Told you" Kifu said as he crossed his arms and smirked at Kaelan.
"You stole my body" The voice called out to William just as Kifu once again hit him over the head with a club, bringing William back to reality.
Should William:
A. Pick up the object.
B. Ask Kifu to pick it up.
C. Bury the object and leave.

"We don't have time for this" Kaelan barked at William
"You are right. We need to find Natalya." William looked down at the short hunched over old man "You may join us if you like. There are safety in numbers and at times like these, we could all use a little more safety"
As the travelers tromped through the dense jungle floor, an odd feeling came over William.
"Join you guys, hahah, I would love to"
"I hope your talents are useful" Sara added a bit disturbed by the man's use of the dead.
"To Ureh then" Gaheed exclaimed leading the pact on their journey once again.
"This sounds like fun hehe" the old man chuckled out not even knowing their task at hand nor the people he has surrounded himself with.
As the travelers tromped through the thick forest floor, an odd feeling came over William. William slowed his pace as he soon fell behind the rest of the travelers. Time felt as if it froze to William, nothing else mattered right now. He looked around as the jungle soon faded away and was filled with a mixture of darkness and the ground a brilliant light in the sky.
A voice echoed through the new environment calling William's name. With out taking a step William seemed to move through the area searching for the origin of the voice.
"William....William" he heard over and over again. He searched the area with no luck of finding the person calling for him.
Thud. William felt the end pf a club hit the back of his head. He snapped back to the jungle where Kifu was standing in front of him.
"What's wrong with you? You were just standing there...haha..staring off into the sky" Kifu explained to william who was a bit confused by the sudden change.
"Uh... nothing. Let's keep moving" William said unsure if he could even explain what had just happened even if he wanted to.
The five travelers continued to walk again. For hours they made their way through the dense jungles. Spiders and snakes littered their path way as Sara sliced the snakes heads of with her claws.
Darkness soon overcame the jungle as the sites of the plants were soon masked by the sounds of the animals that inhabited the area. Gaheed held his hand forward creating a ball of light in his hand. The light was barely enough for the group to continue their trek.
"Perhaps we should stop" Kaelan suggested to the group. Without saying a word the rest of the group stopped and began making camp.
Sara walked over to William and asked "Are you alright?"
"Of course, why do you ask?" William replied still trying to hide what happened to him earlier in the day.
"Well, you have gone through a lot lately. Your Father's death. Leaving your home and your mother. The gruesome monster we have seen. You make look like a man now but you are still a boy inside."
"I'm fine" William responded. "My Father always taught me to be strong and that is what I am doing. There is no need to find pity in myself."
"I understand" Sara said encouraged by William. She thought of how she herself fell to the strength of pity when she gave up on life only a few weeks ago. She was so happy that William saved her life and gave her another chance.
The rest of the group had finished setting up camp. Kaelan had gathered some wood as Gaheed made quick work of setting it afire. Kifu remained primarily useless as he walked around snickering at thinking to himself.
"Perhaps we should..." William started as a light fell from the sky. The object did not seem to be on fire but simply glowed a goldish hue. The object hurdled down to towards the ground as the five travelers all looked at it in awe. The crash could be felt by all as the object made contact with the ground.
"That can't be more than a couple miles from here" Kaelan announced to the group.
Should William:
A. Suggest investigating the object.
B. Avoid the object at all cost.

"Who are you?" William asked the strange man rolling on the floor.
The man continued laughing completely ignoring William's question.
"I said who are you?" William said again with impatience in his voice.
"Me?" The old man on the floor replied as if he didn't feel like the odd on there. "Who am I? That is a good question" The man stopped his laughing and stood up or at least as up as his crooked back would allow.
"I guess yo want my name, it is Kifu but that does not really explain who I am now does it hahaha."
"Dammit, just give us a straight answer" Kaelan yelled out annoyed by the man's light-heartedness.
"You are from the Umbari tribe are you not?" Gaheed asked the strange man.
"Ahhh, you know of the Umbari do you heheh?" Kifu replied back.
"I have heard of your kind through the many travelers who stayed at my inn. Although, at times, I thought of your tribe as a mere myth I must admit." Gaheed explained to the Kifu.
The group all looked back at the life-less zombie on the floor that their weapons could not stop.
"And what is this?" Kaelan asked still weary of their new encounter.
"Ahh, yes, my pet heheh well he was just for my amusement, nothing serious haha I must admit."
"That is some power you wield" Sara injected into the odd interrogation.
"That was nothing heheh" Kifu answered back. "You should see some of my other work heheh"

Should William:
A. Invite Kifu into their group
B. Leave the crazy old man behind
