Well you did suggest golem so there could be ways of increasing the different attacks your golem does. an example would be you have a iron golem and it could attacks using a skill you set. an example uhhh the golem would explode sending iron spikes everywhere and then regenerate itself or you could manipulate your golem with potions (Make it an ice, wind, water, or dark golem)
water could seep into the ground and attack from underground
wind could disapear and attack by using wind to fling objects at your enemy.
actually the duels could be interesting, you could freeze your enemy with a ice golem then change it to wind and start flinging rocks, trees and other things at them.
This is kinda like a healer class which they won't put in, it reminds me of the witchdoctor (sounds like it would be bad in pvp). If some more offensive skills where placed in then we would have something
