Except....DUM DUM DUM!!!! All those other classes you named can actually do damage. The WD was scratching for damage in the demo, the dogs were his main source of damage really cause his fire ball sucked that bad.
They need to do something with him, the whole pet thing will end up being wasted skills in high end gameplay, and the slow fire ball needs a major bonus or something to even be relevant.
I don't know if a WD really cares about mage clan's agreement.
I'm not saying he will conjure demons, but in the last Blizzcon he had a summon Fetish skill and as far as I kno Fetishs are demons right ?
He did? WD playthrough and skills to me were very bad per say. He was very slow, weak, and boring. I found myself summoning the dogs to tank as I lobbed 10000000x fire balls at enemies. I don't remember him summoning a fetish but he may of, wouldn't make much of a difference useless is still useless.
True, forgot about assassin. So 2-2 fair enough. I too have thought of some demon that is out for his own purposes, and reign over hell. Also thought of an Alchemist who can go either way, he could easily fill that void of dark with conjuring up the dead and some alchemist magic spells. (Watch Full Metal Alchemist, that's kinda what im picturing an alchemist in d3 should be like)
There was no dark class in Diablo 1, or its "unofficial" expansion...so so far 2>1 in games. With that said, I feel we do need a dark or neutral character. (No not some crossbow shooting scientist HAHA)
