^ And this is what I don't understand. The game did not come with any guarantee, written anywhere, of future content or updates or anything of the sort. The game was released a certain way and if you didn't like that, you shouldn't have bought it. In the future, you can wait for reviews or gameplay videos or whatever else to make an educated decision on whether you want to buy a game, but feeling entitled to free content - which is exactly what a lot of players expect - is just silly. I'm sure they'll continue to feel that way and complain, but that's not how you institute change.
But they did promise PvP. And they did promise they will always update the game. This can be found by blue post before D3v launched. PvP was on the box art.
And for the record, I have absolutely zero problem with you making videos. Do you my friend. Just be careful of what ideas you throw out. Opinions are great to make the game better and all. I just strongly disagreewith your opinion on micro transactions.
I disagree whole heartedly on the micro transactions. I absolutely hate games with Micro. I'm not paying to win.
Video Game industry has more money than the movie industry. Please do not spread this message of micro transactions. I personally think they are ruining video games. It wasn't that long ago where they had cartridges (which costed more money then CD) and released a FULL game. A game where they didn't have to patch or this or that. Because it was released finished. Now, companies are more then happy to release unfinished games, patch it up, and nickel and dime you for everything along the way.
It feels like it takes a year or two, if not more, for a game to finally feel finished. This is BS. This wasn't like this all the time. It saddens me the consumer lets these companies get away with it.
Please stop spreading your message of MicroTransactions. It does not help us, the consumer, at all.
And Blizzard is rich as is. They don't need Micro transactions
I think you misunderstand the concept of a properly designed micro game. Micro games are NOT pay to win, they are either 'pay to customize' or 'pay to accelerate', but a well built micro game allows you to acquire anything via in-game resource that is considered performance-enhancing as you could with real money, it's just that real money is faster.
Why do you think Hearthstone is so successful? Do you think Blizzard just decided to spend hundreds of thousands (millions?) of dollars of developer time just to make a free to play game with absolutely 0 return? Come on now.
I've talked about this many times before, the kind of micro D3 sorely needs is quality of life/visual micro, just like any other game. Transmogs, extra stash tabs you can buy, etc.
As for the history of D3, there was a changing of the guard. It's unfortunate, but even though the concept of the auction house was sound (it's still great in WoW), the resource gathering speed in D3 is a lot faster and nothing was BoA/BoE, so it became a progression shortcut.
I don't get what 'consumers' are so mad about. If you don't like the game, don't buy it and don't play it.
I have to disagree. I shouldn't have to pay a Multi Bill company to update their game. They don't need my money. They have enough. Why should I pay them to update a game that was so severely flawed? This is something I just don't get. I have to pay them to fix the game that was released broken? Why?

Thank you for giving me an adult response. Sometimes, my emotions get the best of my when I post about D3.
It really is heart breaking, at least for me. What this could and should have been.... Like I said, I still play it. But it just doesn't feel like that epic Diablo game I was use to. I was expecting the game of the year when they first announced D3. It was like, this is it. This is going to be THE game. My dreams were shattered. I wish I could find another game I can sink my teeth into, but I am so freaking picky with my games.
Why don't you work for Acti-Blizz? I'm being completely serious. You know the mechanics of the game inside out. You come up with great ideas. Great write up with an amazingly well made video.
How can you, on your own, come up with these ideas. When a Multi Billion dollar corporation with the most talented people in the industry can't come up with this?
I tip my cap to you sir. You have been doing exactly this since day 1 of D3
Just wait 2 more years. We might get a refreshed game from one of the top video game companies of all time.
I'm not gonna lie, and I will be trolled and most likely banned and cursed at, but man I just can't believe this company did this to Diablo.
This game will never be what we all thought it would be at release. It's a shame. I still play now and then, but my lord all mighty. Multi Billion corporation can't even do trading right in a video game. I guess in 2015, we don't need any type of social activity in a video game anymore. Diablo 2 in the 90s was 10x more social than D3 in 2015.
They kill Cain, they make Diablo into a girl, the list goes on where they did this game wrong. No trading. No PvP (sorry, Brawling is what a cheap company could come up with, not a Multi Billion Corporation). It's just not epic. Blizzard once use to be THE company who made game changing video games.
Yes, you all hate me. It's ok. It just painful man. It really is. Now time to get flamed
Idk how I'm the only one that's missing killing hordes of zombies. Rolling through those giant mobs was so much fun. Sad to see that go
Edit: My history post isn't that bad? Seemed like I was mostly asking questions and talking about ladders/seasons, builds, legs, ect. Maybe a couple of bad posts, don't think they were that bad though
Been on a hiatus since early May. Kinda getting the itch to play again. I see 2.1 is on the way with a lot of changes.
So since RoS has been released how have the updates been? I missed vanilla and crypt runs. Did they beef up mob density at all? Are people happy with the game or its same as it's always been?
