most of it isn't new ^^ some of it is part of the book Heroes Rise Darkness Falls there is a lot of backstory of the characters in it Isendra is the Sorceress from D2 if you are interested
I know that bro but that's just some suspects, no one can be sure that they are the one in the game since blizz (of course) would want a no name character for us with the reaper of soul beta videos + the novels => I can state that they are the same
Through some videos of the beta on Youtube now I can be sure that the name of the Demon Hunter (female) character is Valla since (SOILER AHEAD)
when she goes to pandemonium fortress she gets to meet her sister (Halissa - name comfirmed) and communicates with her => Female Demon Hunter IS Valla!!!
As for the male Barbarian, he just gets to meet an ancient barbarian spirit so he still can be Kehr Odwyll (may be) since both have similar background (just a guess :D)
update: female Wizard's name IS Li-Ming! (she does meet Isendra's spirit in pandemonium fortress)
