The non-Seasonal Greater Rift Leaderboards will also be wiped at the end of the Season. However, you'll immediately be able to compete in the next Era with your non-Seasonal heroes (including those who have just rolled over), and will not have to wait for the start of the next Season.
So, if the new era starts right away,there is no chance that ppl will be able to rank there with the current sets/builds and in general the current meta. Blizz will have to push live 2.4 so that LBs reflect the new changes.

The shield is still shit cause it only increases the dmg of the next sweep attack.Sure it will be good against large packs but single target its going to be so meh.

This is an overnerf. I believe they did that just for testing purposes and they will buff it again at some point to around 200-250%.

Switch rorg to something else since you have 5set bonus anyway. A soj or even a bul kathos wed. band will be better.

37.5% cdr is what you need to be able to insta refresh when hitting 3 targets. Ofc if you can get to 40% it will feel a lot more fluid but still at 37.5% you will see your charge refresh just fine.

IKBB for GRs, Bul Kathos set for t6 speed farm

Boulder is good because it lets you use both IK and Wrath of the Wastes,so ye, we are pretty much bound to using IKBB if you go with ww/rend build and don't forget the new affix on IKBB ( not retroactive ), 75-100% cota dmg. Even non ancient IKBB is going to be better than an ancient Stalgard.

For WW in 2.2 you will want to go IKBB or Bul Kathos set. IKBB for GRs since you can use 3p Wrath of the Wastes and 5p IK and get the respective 4set and 6set bonuses with a rorg.
For T6 speedfarm nothing can get close to the benefit of Bul Kathos set with the AS increase,fury regen and movement speed that the bonus provides.

Neither nerf nor buff. Leave it as is and buff the rest of the classes to the same level that barb is atm on ptr.

You can solve w/e is going on between you two with whispers, fighting in here isnt going to solve anything.
On topic, the playstyle stays the same though the dmg is really nice now since it is multiplicative and not additive.
Considering that the devs decided to nerf perma immunity abilities it seems that the 2 "new" rings (zodiac and broken promises) will stay the way they are which means that it will help a lot with the spec ( broken promises will allow to focus on more toughness,zodiac for higher uptime on defensive abilities etc. )
The dmg is there and I believe that on that part it's fine. Possibly the 6set could become a bit more interesting, adding a bit more defense and there have been a lot of nice suggestions mentioned here like the added dmg reduction on top of the AS stacks from the 6p bonus.
Already on PTR a few have cleared 50+ so the set seems perfectly viable atm and able to compete with both Akkhan builds ( condemn-stampede ).

In the end,the perma serenity build will get somehow nerfed same way perm smoke screen got nerfed for DHs.
While it is fun,the fact that you are immortal is a gamebreaking issue and it can very well lead to monks getting nerfed dmg wise.
They are already "nerfing" skills that provide perma immunities. More on :

3p sunwuko (hands,shoulders,neck), 3p Innas (chest,belt,legs), Leoric's crown, Gungdo bracers, Unity + Rorg and a Torch. You will need the Torch in order to spam Wave of Light without getting spirit starved.

Now on unity,as I said above you can squeeze more dmg by rerolling stats like vit or all res to dps ones like cc,chd,cdr. I for one have several pieces that have neither vit or all resist at all.That's why you go unity because it lets you go with a more offensive stat orientation which results in more dps.
