We have a chocolate lab here at my house who's about 6 years old I think. His name's Bert and he's really lovable. The only thing is is he's got mites around his ears so he gets really stinky and itchy and the land lord (who owns him) won't take him to the vet to get him fixed up.

As for the smaller breeds of dogs, I think you should get another Yorky. Pugs are so slobbery and most of the other small dogs just get annoying with all their yipping.

I was actually more curious as to whether I'd made the judgment on his naivety from the content of his posts, or whether it was the appearance of his "happy skull" avatar that made his posts seem naive.

Since skulls seem on the whole to not invoke a sense of blissful naivety in the general populous, I'm either crazy or I'll have to assume that it was the content of his posts that made his avatar appear so gleeful in my eyes.

It didn't occur to you for one second that maybe there would be at least one person on this forum who was willing to go as far to say they hated it? Seriously? Have you never hated a movie? If it's not golden to you is it just okay instead? I really want you to think about this question and not just give me some facetious response.

I don't know, the skull in his avatar looks rather naive to me, like it's smiling about everything regardless of the situation. For some reason this leads me to believe that he could indeed be so naive as to think no one else would hate Titanic, among other things.

But that's probably just me judging things by appearance alone.

I'll add my voice to the great host of people who despise this travesty of a movie.

    So there.

Hmm, at least he was here for a while and you all were able to get to know him a little bit. That itself is a good thing.

But, as someone who knows Siaynoq in real life and has been deleted from his xbox live friends list multiple times (I'll have to check and see if he's done it again actually) this does make perfect sense to me. It's not precisely because Equinox stopped moderating like she was, but because it was more interesting to him back then. He just got a little bored with being here I suppose, and I have to admit, even my own post activity has dropped significantly in the last month or so. In that regard I can understand him.

At any rate I don't see him coming back any time soon, unless things pick up around here that is. I personally think he's being kind of a wimp about it so I might give him a little grief, but seriously he probably won't be back. If he does return it'll be a long while.

I really don't get how it got so big. He knows karate so does Jackie Chan. So he has a fairly popular TV show, so does Jackie Chan. Why aren't there any of these sorts of jokes about Jackie Chan?

I think it has something to do with how nerdy the guy is in reality. He seriously could have gone on to do lots more karate and martial arts movies, but instead he decided to become a cowboy. Go figure.

Oh, by the way you should all google search "find chuck norris" and hit I'm feeling lucky.

The europeans have stealth tanks now. I don't remember where I saw it but they have a material(developed by some japanese guy I think) that takes the whatever area that the item is at and projects whats behind it on its surface so it actually looks see through. It's freakin amazing.

I saw a picture of a Japanese guy wearing a jacket that was doing that! He had a few cables hooked to some kind of power source though so he couldn't move around.

Or even the Terminator movies. There are a lot of media out there with this very same theme. Personally I believe there will always be some kind of fail safe against something like that happening. Even if it's something as simple as a mass system shut down or a memory format. I don't believe robots or AI will ever take control of their makers, let alone destroy them.

The human race may however let itself be controlled by it's creations, though whether or not that's a bad thing can be debated.

If the robots had the abilities of a human then how could we shut them off, because now most people think about sex and nothing else.

I'm only talking about human looking robots, not ones that are very close to humans in abilities and thought structure. That'd be unethical. No, these would only look and move like people. That and they'd have a strong sexual desire to destroy each other with weapons.

I have actually seen it a couple times, but I did not know why they were doing that. Were they winning money or something else?

LOL! This sounds really funny considering where it is in the thread. I know you were replying to Siaynoq, but it's funnier to think you were replying to my post...:D
