Hehe, I chose heaven because I want a character with cool wings like Tyreal. I'd still choose it though if I couldn't have wings, just because I like the good side of things.
I guess there is a fine line between making something seem epic and pretentiousness. I myself never found the series pretentious, but there is a lot of smoothing of skirts and lengthy descriptions on dress.
I find the overall story too intriguing to not read and re-read however. I think my favorite book was Winter's Heart, but only for the ending of it. I won't spoil anything though.
I love Oblivion and Morrowind, so I just thought I'd make an appearance in this thread.
There is a new game called Two Worlds I'm looking forward to that seems like it'll be fairly similar to Oblivion, if they don't mess it up. What attracted me was that it'll have online multiplayer. Here's the link at any rate.
Hmm, I seem to remember that certain ninjas only became ninjas because they didn't want to comit seppuku. Since I'm not a perfect person by any means, and since I don't want to kill myself, I'd have to stick with the Ninja side of things.
I voted both, but only because I'd have been a samurai at one point in time.
These are definately worth the read, indeed my favorite fantasy series to date.
A word of warning however: the series isn't finished, and the author is very very sick right now. There's a very good chance he'll finish the series in one more book (that will be very very THICK) but it's not known how much longer he'll be alive.

I'll have to look into this sideways cave now, it sounds too interesting to pass up!

I always enjoyed clicking the Protoss probes untill it picked up what sounded like a signal from far away, "I sense a soul in search of answers."

I'm just not sure how often I'll be around is all. I'm still getting a handle on how this site works, so bear with me.

If you need me, I'll be in lurk mode. You won't know when I'll strike next! Or something....
