The point is, 7 years of development canceled, and no one is blaming anyone.
You sound more like a bitter shareholder than anything else.
The #1 thing I hate about this absolutely fucking shitty community is the constant need to blame people. Something went wrong? We need a public execution to make amends.
It's like we've completely lost our sense of civility because we've all turned into spoiled little man-babies.
I think this is the best I've ever seen it worded.
For example I'm not a fan of Jay Wilson, but I never really understood the bloodlust with which he specifically was pursued by the community. People demanding that he lose his job because they didn't like decisions that the D3 team made. "Raaawr screw that guy and his family because his team made a decision I didn't like in a video game!"
That screenshot of an unspecified realm at an unspecified time is proof that not only the game is boned but that it's specifically because of changes to trials and exp exploits? That's impressive.
My clan is still active, my friends list is still active. My anecdotal evidence and yours seem to not agree, solution? PILLOW FIGHT!
I wonder if it's Elective mode that you think is hindering your build playstyle? Enable that in the Options (I play on PS4 and PC) and you'll have just as much flexibility as other people do on PC.
Must say that even with D3 on max on my PC, it feels nicer on console.
Controllers by their nature are much less precise than a mouse. I play on both PC and console, and while I really enjoy the console experience I have to admit that sometimes my character does some amazingly boneheaded things due to the limitations of pointing the big dumb bastard with a controller. Shuffle, shuffle, shuffle, fail.
That said, I second your build recommendation. Though the shield throwing aspect of it could get interesting in certain areas with a controller. If I had a crusader on console, that's what I'd be using though. Loving it for my seasonal crusader on PC.
One day I found like 5 legendaries to a clanmate's 1. Yesterday while I was playing I found one legendary while another clanmate found six. Somedays you get a bunch, some days you don't.
How long until blizzard executes people for low intelligence? I mean this has been plaguing the community for awhile now... I hope they fix it soon. It really decreases my enjoyment for games; therefore they should do it.
half their staff would be axed then... lol
This is the kind of post that always gets me. The bizarre idea that Blizzard staff is somehow less knowledgeable about their products or less intelligent than the community. I know it's the internet and so every forum poster has a PhD, plays in the NFL, has seventeen cars in their garage and owns 15 mansions and two yachts, but really ... There's a reason why the people at Blizzard have their jobs. They're good at them. Whether you agree with their decisions or not, they're still good at their jobs. That's why they have their jobs and not one of the other billion hungry mouths that applied for their job.
It's cute, and I see it a lot of the time in the StarCraft community especially, people who are completely convinced that they can balance the game better than Blizzard can, that somehow Blizzard has survived all this time and made so many games that are considered Classics while at the same time being staffed entirely by simpletons.
I think it's psychological. You hear that they nerfed XP from some mobs and now you think you're noticing a huge difference in XP gain. Playing the game normally I've noticed no difference. The nerf certainly doesn't negate the increase in the strength of the XP buff that we currently have. The nerf was not that significant. *shrug*
Anyway this was a necessary change, things like CotA are unhealthy for the game and they needed to do a blanket nerf to prevent something like that from popping up again. They should have done it sooner however and that's my only complaint. Also Eveigh you did get a boost in XP. Your XP gain is still higher than pre-patch.
I'm more than a little startled that it's this important to you that you might have been right about an issue in a VIDEO GAME two years ago. Like ... You actually went and found ancient quotes about it, dug up old posts, found links and put together this giant wall of text about how you're right about the RMAH.
Wonderful, you were correct, I was correct too but I don't care nearly as much? I thought it was a bad idea, they disagreed, that's okay. It's okay if people disagree with us. I'm personally glad that Blizzard experimented with the RMAH. It didn't work the way they wanted it to, it worked about how I expected it to. *shrug*
