I mean the shoulderpads in the concept drawing.
The render looks fine, but I'm assuming that's supposed to be her "light armor" look.

Not only the Beads around the neck are similar, but she also has the red circles on her forehead, though a bit hidden by her hair (completely hidden in the artwork, but it can be seen on the character page render).

BTW, wth was up with the "I guess pixie haircuts aren't hot" guy on the blizz forum? Her haircut is very hot!

I'm still not diggin' the huge shoulderpads tho.

time is whatever the hell he wants it to be == he decides what time it is

he only used different words, meaning is the same.

but what do I know, right?

I think it's safe to say that I will be hooked for at least the ten years I've been playing Diablo II.

By the time D3 comes out, you're gonna be able to say that, but DiabloII 's release date was somewhere around july 2000, so no.

    posted a message on "Luck"
I don't think he was being sarcastic at all, I played a game (MMO) called 12sky for a while back where they had this type of thing.

Luck increased your chance of getting magic (and rare, etc) drops, of succesfully enchanting a weapon, and maybe other stuff, I'll not get into the details.

It's a stat only given by gear.

Not gonna read the whole thread, but from what I understand, there's gonna be a "luck" stat, only given by gear, that increases your chances of a good drop. It might have other functions as well, and you probably will need to have a different gear for grinding than the one you'd use for "farming".

    As in:

if you want to find good items (for selling, or whatever) you go to an area where you know there are good drops and where you can survive with your luck gear and go there with it.

if you want to level as fast as possible, you would go to an area where the mobs give good exp and wear something that has better def and more damage per sec ie. not your 'luck' gear.

the shrine would probably double your luck for finding items, i suppose.

lol, Dane cast for the assassin the same actress SithDiablo did for the sorceress...

I was actually thinking about casting her too, but then I decided I'd prefer having some unknown actors/actresses on the diablo movie.

I just hope they create one of those link icons to the page.
It's the only one missing on my links bar, so it's the only one that still needs its name by to identify it...

Of course I'm looking forward to the content update, and of course for whatever they got in store for BlizzCon, BUT SERIOUSLY MAN, AN ICON!

posted a message on Secret Cow Level To Return in Diablo 3
To me it seems like it is not that the cow level will return, but there will be some type of secret level. Or to be more accurate, that there MIGHT be some type of secret level (but we're all pretty sure there'll be, right? I mean, all of their games have something, this won't be different.).
he speaks mostly of what were the problems he saw with the cow level from diablo2.
I don't agree completely with him, btw, I had no problem with the cow level as it was, but sure there's always room for improvement.

Anyways, I'm pretty sure we'll see the return of the cows at one point or another in the game.

    "Completionists, raise hands."

    o/

WoW is a great game actually (this may have cost me my argument for some people, I know. F*** them). But even if you don't like it, it doesn't mean that any and everything that is in that game must suck, I mean, they do games, right? That's their job, if there's something they thought of making in one game that sounds like it's going to work in another, then why not use it?
For instance, the skill tree system in D2 came from the tech trees from the RTS games, and I don't hear anyone complaining.

    Q u o t e:
    5. In the gameplay movie we saw a final battle with a boss, where with his brutal strength he bit the player's head off. Can such situation be possible while playing Diablo 3? For e.g.: after reaching some breakpoint (critical point) in character's health, the boss smashes the hero with some unique ability?
