posted a message on What will you be replacing Firebats with?
If proc coefficients are coming into effect, I'm honestly not sure. From the spreadsheet presented, it looks rather grim on most WD skills. If I had a Rhen'ho, I'd say Plague of Toads hands-down. Without one, though, it's just so...random. Maybe Poison Darts, maybe Haunt (though if I understand correctly, Haunt can only proc on the initial application, not the ticks). Hungry Bats might also be an option, with the rather nice buff it received.

    Was this a good change?

Isn't there a risk that this will make the optimum strategy just running endless Normal-mode rifts?
Optimum strat = rift it forward

Remember rifts now reward more shards if completed on higher difficulties.
On Torment II - VI.. guess we'll need to see how much they bump it up, it would have to be a lot for most people to find it more efficient..
Just did a T2 Rift and got...50 shards. I know there's a range, and I might have rolled on the low end, but still...that's about the same as I could get in T1, only separated into a pile of 42 and a pile of 8. I assume it broke them up that way to clarify that the 8 were "extra" for doing T2. If this is the definition of "extra blood shards", T1 still seems optimal, or even Master, now that you can get set items from Kadala.

Hm. You're right. For some reason I thought the Torment-only thing had gone live in the last patch.
One thing that was confusing is that in the thread where this was initially announced, many people were saying they had already gotten torment-only items from caches. They could very well have all been trolling, but it's a possibility this was unintentionally happening before this patch.

posted a message on Event Weekend Coming Up?
First off, apologies if there's another thread on this topic. I didn't see one in the first couple of pages.

Given the anniversary event buff details datamined, how likely does everyone think it is that we'll get a big event buff this weekend? The descriptions of the buff seems to imply that it's for the anniversary of Diablo 3 specifically, rather than the Diablo series as a whole. (Anniversary for Diablo as a whole is in December, anyway, and I would hope we're getting a patch before that). May 15th will mark the two-year anniversary of the Diablo 3 launch.

That also leaves me wondering a bit, as the anniversary date is on a Thursday. I certainly don't think they'll confine the buff to one day, since it makes the most sense to include the weekend, grabbing as many potential players as possible. This makes me wonder if they'll simply move it to the weekend, make a long weekend starting Thursday, or even make it a week-long thing. Obviously, this is all just speculation, and we'll know soon enough, but it's fun to think about.

I'm definitely excited by all the different community even buffs datamined. I hope they throw these in for weekends on a much more regular basis. I know it would definitely get me playing more. Yes, I might only end up playing on those weekends, but that's better than not playing at all like I have been.

Edit: With a little more research, I'm convinced it's going to be a week-long buff, as apparently that was the situation last year. Clear your calendars, people.
