honestly i dont believe maruis plays an important role other than he progresses the story. he gives to us diablo's motives and timeline of were he has been.
i dont know if this was mentioned because i didnt read that long list(maybe i will tomorrow) but what if you had to eat food every now and again or you could find certian foods that raise attributes or give bonuses.
i read the order that one of you listed (sorry i dont remember who) but when you enter duriels tomb and fight him doesnt he say that you just missed diablo or some affect like that. then when in kurast you see that dark wonderer who turns into those stupid thing, couldnt that be diablo since you had just missed him in the second act.
i keep seeing the angel class thing, how would that be incorporated into the diablo game. i.e. when you get to a certian lvl you get to become and angel or demon.

1. You know how you just cant have one cookie, well what if they couldnt just have one worldstone, what if they had a back up, this is the sketchy one but its someting to think about
2.Now while i was reading your posts i thought of this its kinda think outside of the box deals here it is. what it tyrael like watching(maybe the gods to) the fight between mortal men and evil. what if tyrael set up the whole thing(the evils entering the realm...etc). in diablo 1 everything went seemingly fine diablo was stopped everything was good, peace. but in D2 the evils outsmart tyrael, and since tyrael thinks hes a badass he doesnt see whats really going on. so then tyraels plans are messed up, he has to destroy the worldstone and possibly(im going to go watch the final cinamatic) impaled by a shard of the world stone. now the heavens must step in to set straight what tyrael has fucked up and thats were the heaven vs. hell comes into play. i just thought of that in two minutes so i dont know how accurate i am on things
lol. i didnt think this would get this many post in less than 24 hours. even tho the 3rd person view is classic to diablo series i think they need to put the bar a little higher. all the game coming out have insane graphics now in days and is only going to get better. if they dont change the diablo series dont u think it might die out because i bet only the true die hard diablo gamers are going to buy d3 and i dont see to many diablo gamers anymore.
