Well, not bad looking women on this place that for sure. Hmm ... got some nice techniques from the Vantage's Point movie. I should set an iPhone to turn on the fan and some lightwork to distract some blizz folks, get in stealth-mode, loot the game announcement stuff, and walk out. Sounds nice.

Except I have no iPhone ... oh well.

That rusty tornado page was posted a few years ago when Blizzard announced a Diablo patch which introduced Ruststorm. That page is around 3-4 years old.

The 1.12a concept mentioned in the news article comes from the title the Blizzard Tech Support representative used in that forum thread.

He titled it as:

Diablo II Patch v1.12a Released!

Unless that was a typo, this can be interpreted as there are plans for 1.12b -- because It is not usual to call recently released patches with letters "a".

When they become available for Digital Download you will see this green ribbon at the bottom

By making the game Digital download, if you lost your CD now that the no-CD patch was implemented you can purchase Diablo II via digital download instead of buying a CD off ebay or from a store.

Also newcomers to the Diablo franchise are now able to download. I am a heavy collector of Warcraft novels, and all its previous games, and on 2004, I purchased Diablo II and LOD.

Naturally there is a portion of Blizzard fans who have never played Diablo, and if they wished to purchase it they can do so now straight from Blizzard via digital download.

This benefits many types of fans' technical needs and issues.

This is already in discussion at another thread. I said in said thread that this looks like a typical DNS domain name transfer behavior. I haven't confirmed Mockery has done this yet. I haven't interacted with Mockery in like 2-3 weeks.

Usually during a domain name transfer the people living in the immediate area will notice the DNS change right away. While those who live further continue to see the domain name working as normal. Around noon, I could still see diablo3.com pointing to diablofans.com (I live on US East Coast). It is past 6pm and now Diablo3.com went to limbo with a blank page and errors. Sometimes even get a google search page.

If there is any domain name transfer updates, you will read them on the Diablofans.com News Section. I contacted Mockery and Jetrall on this matter in case it is a technical problem.

It is on Tuesday, June 17th.

I think I know what happened. When I highlighted the Xfire news at the XFire URL --- for some reason Blizzcon 2007 is somewhere in the code, invisible. When you paste the highlighted text that shows up.

Nope. The one I couldn't talk about was when the domain ownership would be officially transfered, which is on .... ahh gotcha.

The June 17 ladder reset will take 6 hours. So -- that sounds like the patch "might" be released. It hasn't been confirmed that will be patch day, however.
