If D3 isn't announced at Blizzcon then it is a high possibility that they scrapped it back along time ago when they had troubles setting up the guild system they wanted.(if you haven't heard about that sorry i can't find the article i read it in.. and i don't really want to look for it) If diablo 3 is ever a reality it is a guarontee that it may not be WORTH the wait.. but once you have it you will be satisfied.
And to the person that said D3 should have come out before SC2: No i disagree.. Just as many people play SC as they do D2. D3 and SC2 should have come out a long ass time ago but blizzard was up their own ass with their big money making machine that is driven by the fatass guys that can't get laid(no offense to those of you that play it i own it myself but im talking about the people that live it) SC2 earned just as many stripes as diablo did but both need to come out sooner
Guild wars is fun and the graphics are good but its dry.. you can't really do anything besides go through the story line.. plus theres no treasure hunting.. you get a good weapon by compelteing the game and all armor is crafted in town so everyones got the same thing.. theres no secondary skills like mining and things such as that its a good looking shell with a hollow center
Anyway back on topic:
If they are going to announce a new game it is definantly going to be D3. The writer of the books said "I am not writing for a dead story" and man blizzard people have said they have no plans to discontinue the franchise. They wouldn't leave D2 to be the end when so many people still play it. Making a new franchise would be a ballsy mood when people have been ranting for years for another sequal to come out.
Well, I general come to this place to check out new info on this game because I'v been waiting for it to come out for the better part of a decade now.. Anywho, I am also looking forward to starcraft 2 and while iwas watching an interview on IGN i noticed he mentioned a sequal to diablo 2 after starcraft.. they have everyone working on SC2 right now so its obvious D3 comes next.. you can see the interview here
Man california time is 2 hours behind me.. so if they do announce it at 5 30 ill still be awake and waiting longer cause itll be 7 30 here.. so i will have to balance this out by sleeping in until about... 4..
yeah D is better than SC but SC is longer overdue than D is.. so even if there isnt a game announcement at blizzcon for diablo it doesnt mean it isnt coming... it WILL come out.. its only a matter of time.. a long time..
i hope they do announce D3 but imo whatever they announce (as long as its not SC or WoW related) i will be pleased
if its not SC or WoW related theres practically a 100% chance(note i said PRACTICALLY) that it will be Diablo related.. blizz knows whats good for them theyre just lazy in doing it..

The interview was in 2007 i doubt hed be talking about people still working on LOD when it came out 6 years ago
