In top 10 wiz there is only one bot, 310 hours played - the title of this thread assumes most if not all top ranked players have over 300 hours played in this season, which is true only if you look at each character's hours played compared to season statistics, as you mentioned earlier.

Which one makes more sense to you, that the OP made a mistake or that I'm trolling ? Try to question some things before you make assumptions, not everybody has to think like you do.

For the OP, if you identify individual bots you are better off making screenshots and posting this on public forums with proper examples. People here obviously have no power to help you. A bot tracking thread would be useful but at the same time difficult to manage. Any ideas ?

Rank 1 Wiz US: 290 hours played.
Rank 2 Wiz US: 300+ hours played
Rank 4 Wiz US: 297 hours played.
Rank 8 Wiz US: 285 hours played.
Rank 9 Wiz US: 270 hours played.
Rank 10 Wiz US: 270 hours played.

All of those offline for 3 or less hours per day. That's just the top 10, so people who have actually bothered pushing a solo grift.

But nah, they're all re-birthed dudes who play legit.

It's not, I have played total 364 hours this season if you add up my play times.

Even if it were bots ... you can't bot MORE than 24/7, you just don't have that many hours in a day.

Now can this thread be closed ?

Except he said "In this season", which you can check by looking at season hours played by class.

Either you're trolling/wanting to cover up the bots or you're just misinformed. Either way, it's bots. It always will be bots.

Bots... I don't think anyone is under the impression that it's anything other than bots.

Condemn/Pony Crusader isn't really a thing anymore, the Akkhan's set just isn't competitive at all. Blessed Hammers are fun, though.

I'd probably check out WW Barb or the new Helltooth WD with Acid Cloud. Archon Wizard kinda works the way you describe with stacking Chantodo's > Archon form damage but you need to keep TPing around to stay alive which can be a bit involved if you're just looking to blow mobs up.

Short of downloading the PTR and giving a few different builds a shot, you could watch some 2.3 videos on Youtube to see what you like the look of.

Critical Law of Valor is a huge damage boost you're missing out on. You don't need Long Arm for it to be insanely strong, when you combine the LoV active with a the Holy section of CoE you'll see what I mean. If you're worried about the loss of F/R on damage numbers, not taking LoV is boggling, you've even freed up a slot by dropping the generator for it.

Also, I think Flash is the better rune for Steel Skin. Especially with Hexing Pants.

Of course, i haven't considered using the law on the COE proc. It should be switched with the steed then.

And i picked Steel Skin for 2 reasons. First one is its' duration being long enough to rotate with FS reduction without any downtime on the %50 damage. Then again, i don't even know what kind of an uptime FS has on its own. If practice proves that 4 seconds is enough then Flash's movement advantages can really be enjoyed when trying to stutter step in and over the mobs. Thanks for fixing that out.

You can have 100% uptime on the FS buff with no problems at all, albeit with a decent damage loss for casting it every 8~ seconds.

One thing to note, is that if you cube Leorics you don't need to run Gogok for the CDR so much, opening other gem choices.

Currently the go to gems with Hexing Pants seem to be Gogok, Trapped and Stricken, but with Leorics you could use a Taeguk, although I feel like the loss of attack speed hurts to much. Instead, I've been trying Pain Enhancer which is super nice in dense GRifts.

It's not going to be as strong as Hexing pants for pushing, but if you don't like stutter stepping it is another option.

Lastly, I've heard the Holy rune for Falling Sword procs Strongarms, opening up another option if you don't like Hexing Pants.(You only wear them for damage anyway, if you run out of wrath you're not pushing provoke enough.) I know a lot of the top of the PTR leaderboard don't use FS, but if you're not using Hexing you're probably not competing for those spots, anyway.

    LOL if this is true

nothing changes. The top 0,1% playerbase then knows this already, the rest is not capable of pushing GR74 (4-man) or anywhere near this to have a decent use of this "feature".

I think he was more laughing at the general hilarity of this being an actual thing that made it's way into the game. Blizzard QA doing work again.

I'm talking damage-wise, Palm always just CRUSHED everything. I always felt like I wasn't contributing even though I was equally geared? Just curious.

Yea, Tals crushes stuff as well with the uber meteors.

Unless you're worried about pushing greaters it shouldn't matter too much what you play, anyway. I mean even T10 falls over to really any class geared well.

ot now I'm reading it again, there is actually a way to keep increasing your stacks, even if it is very hard.

If you manage to enter Archon with the stacks of the Swami, then you start with a considerable bonus to IAS and can manage to amass stacks faster (at least at the start) so to end Archon with more stacks than you started with. Rinse and repeat.
Now I think this is what North meant.

    Probably correct.

For reference, the highest stacks I have seen is ~180( i think 184 was the exact number, pre belt nerf) inside a GRift, and that was on around my 4th Archon usage of the run after entering with a buff of around 150ish IIRC.. with channeling.

Density is way to big of a variable to even begin to assume that the buff will keep going higher with subsequent Archon uses through the whole rift, and I think 300 is basically out the question, honestly. Happy to be proven wrong, of course.

Here's a video(Pretty sure this was pre belt nerf, as well) where he hits 194(~5:50 in) with channeling in a 59 GRift.

Jumping in to clarify a detail about swami:

you CAN'T stack up buffs indefinitely with that item. When the Archon expires, the stacks are turned into a timed buff that expires even if you transform again into Archon ad gain other stacks.
The new stacks for the archon count as a different buff.

Or at least this happened a few weeks ago on PTR.

Still works exactly this way as of 2 minutes ago. You can maintain the Archon buff just fine, but it does not stack indefinitely.. that would be stupid.

My only problem with this change is that Paragon level does not equal gear. RNG = gear. This season I reached para 257 with my barb and still couldn't handle T3 because I just couldn't get anything to drop. I could go into a TX game, but i'd be useless because RNG just didn't work out. It is why I stopped playing this season because i was frustrating being stuck against such a stupid wall that literally only LUCK could fix.

I'm not sure what you were doing for 257 Paragon levels to not be geared enough for T6. I think most classes can do it with pretty well basic legendary gear as long as you have a decent build.

If it really was that bad, though, you should join publics until you find some cool people of your own class willing to trade items on some runs. Or ask in general for players for a full group of your own class. You can gear incredibly quick in this game if you're efficient and play with decent people.
